    AccurateRip Pre-emphasis Bug?

Hi Spoon, I believe there is a bug in AccurateRip for discs ripped with varying pre-emphasis.

After the last update, my CD with a mix of tracks with and without pre-emphasis ripped perfectly. However, when having AccurateRip scan my collection, this is what comes up:

    Question regarding extended licenses

I purchased the complete suite. Then I purchased the two-year extension for both music converter and video converter. Music converter shows the four years of updates. Video converter only shows the original two years, even after applying the updated R code to it. I'd like to either get the video...

  • Is it possible to use an older flac encoder with the latest version dMC?

    Hi,

Is it possible to use an older flac encoder with the latest version dMC?
I'd like to keep the possibility to encode flac v.1.3.4 while upgrading to the latest version of dMC. I can wait a few more years before producing flac 1.5.
Would it work to take the FLAC.dll of dMC...

  • CD Ripper Naming - Tagging Disc subtitles or using [SPLIT] on semicolons (';')

    Hi,

I'm trying to set the name of the directory that CD Ripper rips to. I would like it to be basically `year - albumname (Disc discno - disctitle)`. The disc segment is omitted for single disc releases, e.g. '1969 - Led Zeppelin' and '1993 - In Utero (Disc 2 - Live 1993 / 1994)'. Any...

  • Webroot Secure Anywhere flags dbPoweramp exe as threat/malware

Just purchased dbPoweramp and as soon as I began the installation process Webroot SecureAnywhere threw up a threat warning. It did install, but is being blocked from connecting to the internet. Attaching a screenshot of Webroot's quarantine of this.

    The last time I needed...

    Best Approach Rip vs Convert

I currently have about 40 gig of music in WMA format in the cloud. I would like to convert everything to FLAC Lossless. How much of a difference in quality will I experience if I rip all of the music from original CDs into FLAC versus convert the WMA to FLAC? I ripped original music using Windows...

Influence of DVD player on rip quality

I use an external DVD burner to rip my CDs (secure mode with accurate ripping). It's a Verbatim Slim Line external DVD burner that cost about €40.00.

I always get 100% accurate ripping results in dBpoweramp. Does this automatically mean I've gotten the best possible sound quality...

    Asset uPnP Audio quality settings

    Using Asset on Qnap NAS.
Marvelously working server for network streaming. And GAPLESS!!! The only ones which serving it right through my AV receiver Pioneer SC-LX801 are Asset uPnP and Plex. Asset is winner by a mile because of its user friendliness and much better sorting options.

    Swap artist name - title

The feature of swapping artist name and title always works for all tracks, not only for the selected.
I experienced this working on a compilation where only a few tracks needed this swap, which I had to correct manually.
Would be nice if this could be corrected in a future update.

New user, Burst and Secure mode confusion...

As a new dBpoweramp user, I am confused about the Burst mode option.

As I understand it, Burst mode can be combined with AccurateRip?

If I rip a CD with that combination, and the AccurateRip result is good, what is the point of Secure mode, which only takes longer?

Do I need to set DSP?

I am a new dbPoweramp user, so this may be a question that has been asked before: by default, there is no DSP setting/action set in the ripper. I have already ripped a number of CDs without a DSP setting. Is it necessary to set a DSP action at all, or can you rip without DSP and still achieve the same...

  • DBpoweramp keeps trying to retrieve CD-ISRC from every new disk

I've got a few hundred CDs I'm trying to rip and every time I put in a new cd with no meta data, its keeps trying to retrieve the CD-ISRC. This is very annoying because it takes an extra 30 seconds per CD to wait for it to complete retrieval of the CD-ISRC which these CDs dont have. I don't have the...
