I've been a dB user for as long as I can remember, it's software I always come back to.
I'm interested to see if people have setup dedicated ripping stations as I've toyed with the idea for years....

Great stuff thanks Spoon, upgrading is on the cards immanently :D
Issue started this morning, although I'm still running version 16.1 it's been working without issue.
Suddenly it's stopped pulling through Metadata. I've just seen that GD3 is down so have...
I've not got a caddy yet, I have an old reliable IDE plextor drive I use on rare occasion to rip more battered discs, usually works a treat.
I think it is the C2 errors now you come to mention it.
I'm down to my last SATA IDE drive and am wondering if I could double my efforts using an external USB drive instead.

It's worth noting that I've just run the same disc in the same drive through EAC and the disc ripped inaccurately too - it's obvious I'm not going to get an accurate rip from this one but I'm curious...
I recently acquired a Plextor PX-W2410A in order to attempt to rip some of my more damaged CDs. It's worked successfully with a number of discs that would previously not rip accurately
I...
So I'm hearing the general quality / worth in newer plextor models is misplaced these days. I've heard it said that they're essentially made up from components from different manufacturers and not...
