Says Looking for disc under Rip Status and the Blue progress bar at bottom says Retrieving intelligent metadata from: MusicBrainz and the blue render line only goes up about 3 per cent, sits there...
Thanks, Spoon. I just unchecked it, but dBpoweramp still says 'Looking for disc...' under Rip Status when I insert a CD so it did not work.
What does this mean and how do I do it?
I have the latest dBpoweramp, Release 17.5, running on macOS Big Sur version 11.6 (latest) and dBpoweramp does not recognise about 10 percent of the CDs I put into my CD drive. It just says 'looking...
Ok, using dBpoweramp I used the music converter to convert some FLAC files to WAVE, 16 bit 44.1kHz and then dragged-dropped those converted files onto a blank CD on my Mac desktop and burned it....
My car is old with an old bog-standard CD player that can only play CDs that I buy from HMV.
Hi have dBpoweramp and have imported hundreds of CDS in the FLAC file format. However, if I want to burn some complications that I make up to a regular CD that will play in my car's CD player how can...
Yup, Mac user.
A couple of guys on here said they don't use the 'network' for the ripping process and rip to another drive then transfer to NAS. How do you transfer to NAS, just regular drag/drop method? Still has...
Final questions. MY 2 x 1TB drives are now full so I need to buy 2 x 2TB drives to replace them with. If I shift all the files from the 1TB over to a new 2TB drive via drag/drop will any errors occur...
I'm finding it just as fast as ripping CDs via ethernet when using wi-fi. But, when you say 'reliability' issues are we talking about rips that have 'errors' in them?
Final questions. Does it make any difference to the quality of the music/rip if you rip over the wifi to the NAS as apposed to using an Ethernet cable?
Ok, just borrowed a friends old iMac, one with a built in CD drive, and downloaded dBpoweramp and all the 'dodgy' CDs are ripping at break neck speed with no issues. I conclude that my new iMac, that...
Itunes won't import .wav files from my NAS that I imported in wav format with dBpoweramp though, so iTunes is not an option.
I'm still looking for recommendation for software that allows me to copy my .wav files and burn them to regular audio CD for playing in domestic CD players.
Somebody on here recommended Nero...
Tried both ticked and unticked, makes no difference.
I just tried importing Tom Waits 'The Early Years Vol. 2'. Same story. Took nearly an hour to import just track one, then spat out the CD and showed errors. See picture attached.1964
All these CDs...
Just takes an age. After about 90 minutes and five very slow track imports it just ejects the CDs with errors saying could not import.
Did that, two drives, same thing.
While I'm here, different question. How can I burn a CD from my NAS library using dBpoweramp software to play in the car? This was easy with iTunes, does dBpoweramp have a feature that allows me to...
Done that, drive is fine.
No, I own over 1,000 CDs and I've ripped over 800 of them, all in under 3 minutes each. CD drive is fine.
OUtcome same as before. Takes 25 minutes per track hence about 4 hours for the CD, can't wait that long. Imported first track in 35 minutes with Inaccurate (54), basically the same thing.
Checked those settings and both boxes are unchecked.
What's that and how do I do it?
