Re: Tags, Tags, and more Tags ...

    Hi guys,

A bit of a backwards question to be asking at this point, I know!, but what if I was the REMOVE some of the tags I originally created a couple of years ago?

    I mean, I am really...

Re: Tags, Tags, and more Tags ...

Kenny G's wealth is probably greater than Herbie Hancock's and Chick Corea's COMBINED, I dare say!

Re: Tags, Tags, and more Tags ...

    OK, thanks for the clarity.

In all honest, if I could wind the clock back I would have created a generic user-name (eg. 'Mr_123_Liverpool_UK'). Not that I have ever really posted anything that...

Re: Tags, Tags, and more Tags ...

My site-name is actually 'monsterjazzlicks' but this forum has an upper-limit on the amount of characters, so I (frustratingly) had to lose the 's'.

Re: Tags, Tags, and more Tags ...

I have always wanted to ask, please: is your first name actually Garym, or is it Gary and the 'M' is the 1st letter of you surname? When I first joined the forum I used to call you Gary but then I...

    Garym,

Yes, exactly! I am actually moving house next month which is going to delay things even further!

Wow, that's a hell of a lot of ripping you have recently completed!

Re: Tags, Tags, and more Tags ...

    Hi Gary,

    I hope you're well mate.

I have around 30+ CDs I purchased on eBay and Amazon last year to rip. In fact I have still not even listened to them!

    Cheers.

Re: Tags, Tags, and more Tags ...

    Hi Mville,

I am still working my way through re-doing many of my jazz CD TAGS. I have way more 'jazz' than 'classical' genres. I am really only changing the naming schemes (where applicable) and...

Re: Strugglig With A Naming Convention

    Hi Mav13,

I started using FOOBAR player as soon as I purchased 'dBpa'. I would never consider using anything else now. I think quite a few members of this forum use FOOBAR.

    Re: Backing Up FLAC files

    Hi FP,

I use a paid-for s/w called "Beyond Compare" made by ' Scooter'. I have found it to be very thorough and reliable. There's no hidden bloatware and it doesn't hijack your PC either.

    I...

I have provided a screenshot (Wagner's 'Tristan & Isolde') albeit, frustratingly,...

Hi garym; yes, thanks. I certainly won't be re-ripping any existing materials again. I made that mistake when I very first purchased dBpa.

  24. Re: Tagging - STYLES within CLASSICAL GENRE (help?)

    Hi DeleterMann,

If that works for you then that's great!

But personally, I perceive the terminologies: sonata, rondo, essay, etc as being directly related to FORM (eg. 'AABA'). And, I feel,...
