ok, thanks for the info. Looks like VLC isn't the play-it-all software, after all ;-) But no problem, I can live with this slight limitation.
I got a similar problem. Apparently my control4 system can't handle some of the flac files I have, although they play perfectly well on my PC. Just checked - one of the files has sample rate 44.1...
Whooops.... :blush: Hadn't even thought of that, sorry. I used VLC, believing that this would be able to play anything (it has so far up until now); the reason I didn't want to play it back in iTunes...
