So I can happily IGNORE the information?
This is a sample of the output from CD Ripper when it finishes a disc rip. What does ".IGNORE" mean as a suffix to the track?
This is a multi-encode, flac and lame, to a directory that is not the...
Including Win XP, when it is using thumbnail view of the directory that contains the folder in which the 'folder.jpg' is present. It's very convienient for browsing media folders.
MediaMonkey is pretty good. It can do the album art as well.
In the end, I used MediaMonkey to download cover art for all the missing albums in a folder.jpg file (MM can't yet write straight to flac files), then used the utility codec to import folder.jpg into...
Isn't this the same bug in 12R3 that tripped me up the other day? I.e you rip once and then the drive goes missing?
At risk of being ejected from your Christmas card list, is it possible to reverse the Artist tag operation? I.e one tag with multiple artists to multiple tags?
Oh bollox! I've just 'repaired' the whole of my FLAC collection to the one line format. Sheesh :vmad:
What is the 'proper' way for FLAC?
Spoon, pardon my ignorance, to be absolutely clear, which way do you regard as the 'proper' way to handle multiple artists in tags,
One tag -
artist one; artist two; etc....
or
Multiple...
Thanks. Is is possible to have R13 and R12 installed at the same time?
With regard to forum etiquette, is it permissible to talk about other products when discussing dMC? I found a way of of using dMC with another product that helps me get around a deficiency in dMC....
Spoon, does R13 have everything R12 has, but with some additional features that are in Alpha. Or should I regard the whole package as in an unfinished state?
Ah, thanks for that. Pity there isn't a 12.4 to fix it <sigh>
Using 12.2 Reference on XP.
Insert CD into drive,
Respond to pop-up asking for dmC ripper,
ripper opens up, recognises the CD, fills in the artwork,
rip CD to disk, successful
retry one track...
I would like the ID Tag Update Codec to allow the output directory to be specified. I want to keep my original collection intact until I'm sure I have the process under control. This would save me...
It would be nice if there were a quick way to select the 'Dynamic' part of the output location when running the convertor. Depending on what I'm doing, I often have to switch this; I have text file...
Fair enough, by hand it is. In the meantime, I noticed that I can edit the album art by right-clicking the file and selecting Edit ID Tag. One can also select many files and update them in parallel....
I have lots of mp3 files with missing album art, is there an easy way to restore the art, using AMG, say? Neither are there folder.jpg files lying around.
I have an alac collection, stored under drive S:. I want to create a parallel collection but encoded in flac on drive U:.
I use the batch convertor and select a small number of files from within the...

Thanks for the advice
Ok, I thought it might be easy to turn on the option in vBulletin, but never mind. It's quite a nice feature for users to keep track of many forums.
Any chance of the forum supporting RSS?
