I totally trashed my music collection organisation. Now I have lots of tracks starting 01,02,03 etc and no folders for albums. Most are full album rips via dbpoweramp but some are same names and...
Thanks spoon. How much data is sent per track? My internet connection says 115GB was sent since I started to run perfect tunes.
Also maybe I owe you an apology ??? I now see an "i export"...
HI, I just started to look at perfecttunes after many happy years with dbpoweramp and asset server.
The idea sounds great but the implementation seems poor (maybe I'm not using it correctly).
I...
Hi Spoon, Control is running slow and not loading album art correctly. Have reinstalled control and also restarted asset server. Kinsky works fine.
the problem coincided with a win7 update but not...
Yes I understand that. Would be good to be able to show all the available artworks though. I can then use a generic picture until the real one becomes available. - better than none and easier than...
can I access the other 40 to choose a suitable temporary solution? With 2836 missing it would be useful to do that for frequently used albums.

Just tried perfect tunes album art on one of my larger drives. I selected the fix all button. The stats I get are 5422 total albums, 511 low res albums, 1027 previously fixed albums and 2836 albums...

Hi Spoon, i just upgraded to asset upnp r4 and now don't get the right track to play. i browse artist and album then select an album. the correct name and art appears but its a totally different...
Fair enough! It's working well with standard asset functionality. DSbridge works for spotify so I've got most of what I want when all said and done.
Thanks Spoon
cop out! ;)
Although I did expect something a little more constructive. Especially as Ive just spent 130 quid on something specifically to run asset. :(
DSbridge works fine btw - just tried it - so deffo not the network or spotify
I have now tried this on 2 atom 510 PCs so have discounted any hardware malfunction.
I am discounting CPU and memory issues because it does not change on higher or lower load of the cpu (unless I...
Yes, I posted on the linn site too. Same answer. Thnx. Linn suggest looking at the network as usual but in this case there isn't one. It's ok from spotify or media player but not out of the pc...
Its difficult to tie up exact droputs to a sniffer trace however I can see this type of message during during 2-3 secon gaps in the stream.

I guess so if one cpu is 90% and the other is 0% but that is not the case. I'm now running spotify and streaming to the DS with dropouts and CPU0 is min 20 max 40 for the most part. cpu1 slightly...
Now that I only use locally attached drives this seems to have been a good way to run asset. However, try as I might, I cannot get WASAPI streamer to snd a good continuous stream to the DS. I get...
okay...I didnt think of that. Thanks Spoon
I'm moving this from the server forum

I still have this problem. I turned off any firewalling and I...
Oh okay. I was expecting a gigabit attached drive to be faster than USB. The PC, switch and drive are all Gbit and nothing else is using the bandwidth. I'll copy to USB external drives and rerun it....
It took just short of an hour and a half in total. The first 15 mins it was at "counting tracks" then started to display the numbers. total was 88442.
This is accross 2 network drives gigabit...
