yeah what spoon said, none of the databases have that info. you'd need to manually add that stuff, Wikipedia is usually good for that info if the band is famous enough.

So i'm on a Mac, firewall disabled, and dB wont retrieve metadata for a disc, but XLD will. I'm assuming dB is just not pulling CD-Text and XLD is? what can I do to verify?
