Mp3tag uses the upper case ARTIST SORT, even if you have used Artist Sort from dBpoweramp.

Congratulations on completing ripping your collection and maintaining those stats - very interesting. I haven't kept an accurate record of the odd error whilst ripping my CDs, but would be surprised...

It is worth cleaning them first as the ripping time may be reduced and occasionally smudges will cause errors.

Unfortunately there are no real standards for which tags should be supported and it is very common for otherwise extremely competent players to be limited by the software and apps.
