    Note the above only adds the disc number if there are more than one disk. If you want disc number no matter what (e.g., 1-01 track name), let me know.

    This will do what you want, and also automatically put compilation albums in a separate "Compilations" folder. Change "Compilations" to "Various Artists" if you prefer that. Note this is windows....

    itunes uses a different source for metadata that is NOT available to dbpoweramp.

    what happens if you try to rip a cd with JRiver? If that works, it tells you that there is no problem with Windows recognizing and using your drive.

    unlikely. smashing the computers won't help. I'm sure the problem is fixable, but first we need more information. Is dbpoweramp actually opening and reading the disk, but just not showing...

    what version of dbpa are you using. WAV codec is standard, at least in recent versions as far as I know. perhaps just reinstall dbpa. You won't lose your settings.

    When you say nothing happens, do you mean that the tag info doesn&*8217;t change (checking from your player, etc) or do you mean the file name does not change rather than the tag info.

    post the error message you're getting. Even better, post the ripping log created when you try to rip the CD.
