Ok, thanks for the clarification, Spoon.
  2. Re: Pioneer BDR-XS07TS - drive offset - unable to find

Thanks Spoon. Can I submit it through the Mac app?

I seem to recall Mac users are unable to submit discs to the AccurateRip database for instance.

    Thanks thexfile!

    How/when are these added?

  9. Re: R17 for Mac - Disc present in AccurateRip database not showing

Many thanks Peter. Do you have a timeframe for the release version of 17.1?

    Many thanks
  10. Re: R17 for Mac - Disc present in AccurateRip database not showing

    Many thanks for that Spoon.
  11. Re: R17 for Mac - Disc present in AccurateRip database not showing

Yes that's right. So if I choose to replace the R17 app version with the 16.8 that should be fine - no need to uninstall R17 first?
  12. Re: R17 for Mac - Disc present in AccurateRip database not showing

Thanks Spoon. Does that hold true for upgrades as well? Through the years I have simply dropped the app into the Applications folder replacing the previous version. I think this is different from...

Re: New drive - have a few questions - please help!

Thanks Spoon - but I thought you could not enter the offset manually on the PC? I am on Mac, where I can enter it manually. So:

    1. Will it still work on the Mac; and
    2. Presumably if I do not...

Re: New drive - have a few questions - please help!

Thanks again Dat Ei for your input. Are you saying that I could use any offset with the drive as long as it rips an accurate file? If so, what is the point with the offsets?

    Thanks!

Higher sample offset = worse drive?

    Hi all,

Will a higher sample rate offset (say +667) make for a worse accurate drive than a +6 sample offset drive?
