Last night I deleted and re entered the pathway and it ripped one CD but only one. To do more I had to repeat the process for each cd. I had this problem before I updated to the new dBpoweramp...
Turned off ESET and the firewall and nothing. Repeated and one disc ripped but while ripping nothing showed on the track bar as a % of ripping--it stayed at 0%. Turned ESET and the firewall back on...
ESET, which I installed a month ago. Hmm...
I set it to test conversion and burst but no joy. It still won't rip.
When ripping fails to start and I cancel it I get a message on the screen that says "audio file passed verification" from dBpoweramp.
How do I set the ripping mode?
When I open Music Converter on the control center I go to the files I mentioned above. They are totally unrelated to Music Conversion and there is no DSD there. Also as I posted in the CD ripping...
I hate to sound stupid but how do I do that? When I go to the control panel and click on Music Converter it sends me to a bunch of random files with nothing about dBpoweramp.
I'm running the latest version of DbPoweramp. When I put in any CD it finds the metadata and artwork but won't start the ripping process. I've tried several cd's which I've ripped in the past. All...
Right clicked on a DSD file in File Explorer and did not find "Convert To". Is Convert To part of dbpoweramp?
Where do I find "DSD files" to click on?
Total Newb at this. I have a few DSD files I'd like to convert to FLAC. I have dBpoweramp 17.4 Ref. Can I use this to convert the files? Do I need something else? How do I do it?
I think I posted this in the wrong forum. Does anyone know if you can rip a DAD disc to FLAC or WAV?
I wasn't clear. I did add a network location so I was following your instructions. Still had the problem so I deleted DBPA and reloaded it. Problem solved. Somehow the program got corrupted...
It is assigned a dynamic IP address and I do use the server's network name when asked to chose a file.
I enter the IP address in the Path on DBPA. After I click set it asks me to choose a file and I choose my server.
It's a non consumer version that is simplified and without most bells and whistles. The actual name escapes me at the moment.
A cleaned up version of Windows 10.
This makes no sense but I deleted the IP address of my server in DbPA and re entered it. I was able to rip Misty. I then tried another previously ripped CD and got the same error message. So I again...
Yes, other CDs rip fine and transfer to my server in the process. This CD, Misty by the Yamamoto Trio, does not. My desktop is a PC using Windows 10. I downloaded two files from Acoustic Sounds...
DBPA is on my desktop. I do all my ripping this way and it transfers to my server. I'm thinking something is weird with this CD
The destination is my server. I have it's IP address entered on DbPoweramp and I test ripped another CD and it ripped fine.
Not sure how to do either.
DbPoweramp is working fine but I can't rip the CD Misty which is a 24K gold Japanese CD. I get the "can't open file" error message. The disc appears pristine. Any ideas?
It shows: Error ripping to FLAC and Error unable to open file (M) M is my music storage.
