Has it always been that slow? on the Batch Ripper configuration program, edit that drive and test the load and unload manually.
If you have the internal drive configured in Batch Ripper, remove it.
You would set Asset on the Synology to rescan every 10 minutes, this will allow it to pick up new items quickly.
Bug confirmed.
What is the full error message please?
You would check the replay gain option, set to 24 bit, this will increase bitdepth to 24 bit, even if no replyagain tags are present.

We can look at it yes, it could be a case that indexes do not always match track numbers (in that a track could contain multiple indexes), this I do not know how to handle.
Because often people have albums which have the same name, such as 'Greatest hits' and no indication they are compilation albums. At a guess 99.999% of people have albums always in the same folders,...

The file has the wrong extension, it has .m4a but .m4a is a file container which needs various chunks defining, such as MOOV, this file has none of that, it is a .aac file (.m4a can contain aac but...
Tracks in Playlists are only searchable if the tracks are also indexed by Asset.
