    Look of CD ripper

I have been a registered user for many years but I am disappointed that the user interface for the CD ripper has never been improved. The reaction you get is that you have no idea of what to do. So I...

    Converting Wave to m4a

Hello. I don't understand how you convert a wave file to m4a in DBpowerAMP. When you use "Apple Lossless", it doesn't give you any choices on the quality. I thought you can have various degrees of...

Re: External MP3 players like for Cars

Although, one thing I should make clear is that there isn't a problem when I convert mp3 using dBpower converter. If I digitize an album and use dBpower to convert the wave file to mp3, it works...

Re: External MP3 players like for Cars

I kind of got away from this question but still I am having problems with some mp3's even after encoding them again. Why would changing from Unicode-16 to ANSI help? I haven't tried it yet. It is set...

  10. Re: ogg vorbis files to not display album covers on CD,DVD

It still bugs me that every mp3 that I convert to VBR shows these strange numbers like .13, .19, .20 in the duration colulmn, in the detail view in a folder in Windows instead of the actual time of...
  11. Re: ogg vorbis files to not display album covers on CD,DVD

I still don't understand how this is done.
  12. Re: ogg vorbis files to not display album covers on CD,DVD

I hate to bring up MediaMonkey but I was just using it as an example. Because the fact remains that in WinXP properties, I just did a test and found 14 out 15 mp3 files that were converted in VBR...
  13. Re: ogg vorbis files to not display album covers on CD,DVD

How do you replace WinXP length column with its own? I still don't understand the difference between the duration and the length column. Actually, the length colulmn shows the correct time. If...
  14. Re: ogg vorbis files to not display album covers on CD,DVD

Although, I did say that in "Windows XP" properties, it shows the duration as .30 for example; MediaMonkey is only reading from the "Properties" in WinXP via the file. So you can't blame MediaMonkey....
  15. Re: ogg vorbis files to not display album covers on CD,DVD

It just seems best to not use dBpowerAmp converter is the conclusion I have come to. I've just had nothing but things go wrong with hours of endless waste of time, frustration and no answers; it...
  16. Re: ogg vorbis files to not display album covers on CD,DVD

Well, that about makes it not useable in my eye. I wasn't aware of this, particularly with all the rave reviews. It's too bad because it does sound pretty good at the lowest birate. The creator must...
