Re: Discussion of Automated CD Loaders

That's interesting. They call ours "robots" in the service agreements, but every disc is accessible. Basically, it scans everything and mounts each disc as a directory in, say, Z:\ (user...

Re: Discussion of Automated CD Loaders

No idea, honestly. Batch Ripper doesn't appear to be supported using the Plasmons, but they're dead in the water at the moment anyway... :/

    Not even close. ;)

Basically, what I do: I receive CDs (and sometimes "enhanced"...

    Re: Batch Converter suggestions

    Check boxes for encoding options.

For example, in my workflow, I encode for 5 different bitrates/formats: 4 wma formats, 1 mp3. sometimes, due to odd corruption from transfer, or to fix someone...

Re: Discussion of Automated CD Loaders

    multi-encoder speed issues?

    My system specs:
    Dual P4 Xeon 3.06ghz
    2 gigs RAM

15 files (ripped to Hard Disk as .wav) encoding to:
    WMA: 20, 32, 128 and 192 kb...

    Re: Batch Conversion requests

AHA! Got it. Looks great, I'll put it through the paces tomorrow. If it works like it looks like it'll work, I'll pick up a 5 user site license tomorrow or the day after. Sweet. Thanks guys!

    Re: Batch Conversion requests

Interesting, I don't see that option. I'll work with it later tonight/tomorrow and if I still have questions regarding this, I'll post it up in the proper forum. :)

Not really sure where they're saved, however. I don't see an explicit save option, it does seem to save the previous sessions settings... but when moving to another bit-rate or format, it doesn't...

    Re: Batch Conversion requests

D-80 is the model number on one, the other.. not really sure. :D The Plasmon people got our SNs all mixed up for each device. We use POINTsoft for management (mounts all the cds as a giant drive)....
