Hi Peter
As mentioned I forgot to include the top directory in my case that was called Xigmanas.
This is what worked

Hi Peter

Hi Peter
Thank you for this.
I will try this once I get home.
I did check the Forum Guide and played around with the line you gave me earlier.
The network I am connecting to is a Linux Nas...

Hi Peter
I noticed when I looked for a solution for this issue, that I had already inquired about this and did not send the debug log.
I will reboot it and get you the log.

Hi Spoon
I have Asset installed in this directory:
/home/pi/Asset-R6.6-Linux-ARM32-registered/bin
I have it pointing to this that points to my external library
/home/pi/DLNA
I am running a Raspberry PI, and after a reboot the library catalogue is gone and it does not auto rescan.
Should it keep the library catalogue? How do I set it up to rescan after a reboot?

I am using a Yamaha with Asset and no problem at all. What Yamaha are you using and what file format are you using for most of your music?
I may have something similar happening. I got it to work by using the rescan detecting changes options.
If I use rescan all, no media gets detected.
Let me know if this works for you.
Hi
I have upgraded to Asset 6.3 on a clean install and if I do reboot, I have to run "rescan folders detecting changes" as "rescan all" does not detect any media.
I do not "think" I have an...

Hello all
Is there an upgrade process from 6.2 to 6.3 or do we have to do a complete reinstall and start afresh?
Thanks
Of course..
Hello Spoon
Is there any chance you will be adding a generic search option for quickly getting to tunes?
Spoon you were correct! Thanks. I could not see anything wrong until I went into the edit custom sort values. Sure enough it was set to John,Elton
Thanks so much.
Hi
I notice that some artists are being indexed different then others. Joe Cocker is listed as Under J- Joe but Elton John is listed as Elton John under J and not E for Elton.
I have checked...
Is Asset for Raspberry going to be upgraded for the Raspberry platform as well?
Thanks
I play it directly from the Musiccast App or the Yamaha AV controller app. Works great and is quick for browsing tunes before playing them.
I just tried the fix suggested by Psweetie and it worked fine. Adding vers=3.0 after the command I had before was all that was needed...!!!
My previous fix was to change the protocol on the drives...
Hey Arron
I think the fix for all of us is to add the ver-3.0 after the mount command. So for you it will be
@reboot sudo mount -t nfs 192.168.1.152:/nfs/Music /home/pi/nas, ,vers=3.0
This...
I figured out a solution for my situation. The detail of the root cause are here in this thread.

I have found a fix for my issue...
Simon- thanks.. I have spent hours trying to figure this out. I will just wait until a release is made available. It is a bit of a hassle but at least it works once it is mounted.
I can mount it and use it fully works. when I manually put in this command in terminal.
sudo mount -t cifs -o guest //192.168.2.210/n4f-01/Media/MEDIA /home/pi/DLNA
But if I reboot the server...
