GetPopupInfo stopped working. I was filling out tag info of a bunch of random quality wav files, but doing it one at a time. The crash happened when I clicked okay.
I have the dumb file but it's not...
Same thing.
Steps to reproduce:
Open two folders with files to convert. Have them overlapping a little or a lot, but not exactly in the same spot. (Not two full screen windows)
Using the right...
The main converter window, where you select what you're converting to and all the DSPs, stays in one place while adding more files from other folders. As far as I can tell, it tries to be centralized...
Folders are overlapping all around the screen. They are a little bigger than a fourth of the screen.

DPI is set to 100%. (I know Windows default is annoyingly 150%)
Only one screen....
I think I have it figured out.
When I open two folders, add some songs to the converter list using the right click menu. Then I go back to the other folder and add some songs to the converter list....
So I have no hard proof, but I noticed that the converter window tries to appear centralized in relation to the folder window where it was opened from. (I most always open the converter using the...
Thank you. I will do that.
No. I have never even heard of that before.
I do have a program called Razer Cortex. It's supposed to focus resources to games when you activate it. Like it sets the CPU affinities so that the game...
Many of the tracks I have are singles. For the quieter tracks that are in an album, I have been using album gain and it works quite well. Even with that though, if I convert some songs in an album,...
I'm running a fresh new install of Windows 10 on new hardware. No dedicated protective software except what comes with Windows. I'm getting the exact same issue. I just use the old alt -> space -> m...
The bread and bones of digital audio quality can be found in this video.
More direct to the main question is this article.
I'm listing these from the same source because no one else seems to talk...
So I've just been using the volume normalize DSP set to the EBU R128 setting. It has the problem of making songs with less full frequency usage sound much louder. (Like a song with just a guitar...
Thank you. I found that the reason all the metadata was getting wiped was because I was using an outdated version of the java library.
I'm still not sure I understand the intended use cases for read...
I'm really curious how your dual boot setup is holding up. I had this on mine until Windows 7 ate 10. I used 7 more anyway and don't miss 10. I just want to know if you've had something similar...
Run external has the ability to pick when it gets ran, is there a way to make read metadata file happen after everything, or does it already do that?
For context, I wrote a DSP in java that has...
It's not really being worked on that I know of. From my own comparison tests, I would say because there's nothing left to improve.
The only killer wma has is that it's not open source. I am probably...
Not that this adds much, but I want to add that ogg was meant to be a general media container. I have a game that has ogg video files in it, but they have the same ogg extension.
So, I'm new to profiles, I set some up and I like them a lot.
Look at my screenshot here.

In this situation, once I click and the drop-down menu collapses, if I scroll up using the mouse...
If there is a way to modify the list of words that don't get capitalized, I would like this functionality.
I'm sure you've tried renaming the file extension to m4a. Sometimes you can get lucky with that.
"Batch" makes it sound like you have loads of DVD drives. I personally don't so I don't care about the batch aspect, but a Blu-ray and DVD ripper would be awesome.
If it was me, I'd just record it playing back from the MQA player. Much the same idea as: I don't agree with or trust vinyl records to last, but I love the dynamic range they demand. So, to have the...
This is my habit as well. Glad to know the issue is known. I'll use the batch converter in the mean time.
I ended up finding someone that has made a working tag manipulator in java. It was really easy to add it to my program. Now I can do the full processing straight from the dBpoweramp converter.
...
I took a peek at it. It's pretty nice. It would fit in nice to my processing lineup if it also had an import option. I personally like dbPoweramp tag editor more.
