You need to set it up you Browse Tree for Folder and Filename browsing which is not set up by Asset in the default browse tree
Go to:
Asset UPnP Configuration >> Edit Advanced Settings >> Browse...

Naim recognise the problem, they see it with both Asset & Minimserver on a PC, but not with the Naim Core.
Its now with the app team so I expect the fix will be in the next beta.

But I dont thats the problem as Ive never had a transcoding problem with any Asset or other previous software(s)...

I play gapless albums reasonably regularly & not noticed anything as you report, but just to be sure I've just played a few & no I don't seem to have this problem.

All files are FLAC transcoded...

You will find Compatibility Mode on the Naim app in Settings>Input Settings>UPnP = UPnP compatibility mode.
This mode is not required with Naim streamers on the Naim app, unless something is not...
