Sometime last night, my modem/router reset itself. Apparently, that resolved the issue because metadata retrieval is no longer lagging.
Lately, I have noticed that metadata retrieval is taking longer. I thought one of the providers could have been the culprit, but I disabled each provider, one at a time, and it didn't make a...
I installed Process Explorer, but honestly, the application looks a little above my pay grade. The thing I noticed is that when I closed the AccurateRip window, AccurateRip.exe was still running. I...
I have an unusual issue with PefectTUNES. I open the PerfectTUNES Control Center and check my FLAC library with AccurateRip. After I have looked over the results, I close the AccuratRip window. The...
I think the AccurateRip server might be down. I can't get the ripper (or any other app) to connect to AccurateRip either.
I have noticed that AccurateRip has been lagging a bit lately. I will insert a CD, and it takes several minutes for the ripper to read the disc. It takes even longer for the ripper to retrieve...
If you are referring to "Read into Lead-in or Lead-out," it's unchecked.
This problem appears to be isolated to one of my ripping drives. It’s an older HP model I use as a backup in case I have difficulty with my primary drive. My main ripping drive is an LG, and I have...
I believe the situation has resolved itself, somehow. I'm not exactly sure how. Maybe it was a fluke.
I don't know if this made a difference or not, but I installed the most recent chipset driver...
I have a rather unusual conundrum. I did a quick search on the forum and it appears others have had a similar problem. To make a long story short, when I open the ripper and load a CD, the disc is...
Yeah... to echo what Spoon said, all of your DSPs change the audio data. That would definitely cause problems with PerfectTunes.
Thanks for the suggestion. One thing I failed to mention is that my second ripping drive still supports C2.
I have an HP Blu-ray burner that has served as my primary ripping drive for several years. Up until now, I had no problems using this drive with C2 pointers enabled. After upgrading the motherboard...
I think this site might be having some server issues. It's taking a long time to navigate the forums and the ripper has had difficulty connecting to AccurateRip, too.
I don't fully understand the nature of your problem, or what might be causing it. However, I would be remiss if I didn't warn you that when you convert FLAC to M4A (or any other lossy codec), you...
For the LG drive, you might try disabling C2 if it's enabled. I've had LG drives and, for some reason, C2 acted really crazy with them. Too many false positives.
I have many of David Foster's CDs and they have all ripped without error.
Do you have a second ripping drive that you could try?
The best advice I can offer is to have a second ripping drive. When one drive fails to rip a particular album or track, switch to the second. This should resolve 90% of all ripping difficulties.
I tried searching the forums for this, but I never have much luck finding relevant information.
I would like to know if the ripper considers "Secure (Warning)" as a secure rip when configuring the...
I would recommend having a second ripping drive handy, if possible. I always encounter discs that can't be ripped by one drive, but rip perfectly with the second.
No change in behavior.
I have ripped more albums in the time since I posted. The count is now at 164 total albums, with 22 not present in the database. PerfectTUNES reports 163 album accurately ripped. However, I can...
I don't know if this is an actual problem, but it's something that does seem amiss. I am using the most recent beta.
I just scanned my music drive with PerfectTUNES. Out of 126 discs, 8 are not in...
Perhaps dBpoweramp is embedding album art? That would account for the larger file size.
Do you have the standard or the "limited quantity" deluxe version? It's possible the latter may not be in any databases.
