  1. Re: When you rip a CD, how can you make it go into jut one folder instead of two fold

Thanks. I noticed that em dash is shown as "&*8212;" when posted here in forums.
  2. Re: When you rip a CD, how can you make it go into jut one folder instead of two fold

The code for em dash didn't translate to em dash, so I replaced the code for em dash with actual em dash and as a result I'm using this:
    [MAXLENGTH]240,[IFCOMP]Various Artists...
  3. Re: When you rip a CD, how can you make it go into jut one folder instead of two fold

This is what I'm using now:
    [MAXLENGTH]240,[IFCOMP]Various Artists [album]\[IFMULTI][disc].[][track] - [title][][IF!COMP][IFVALUE]album artist,[album] — [album artist],[album] —...

Re: How to rip a SACD?

    I have a Pioneer drive (BDR-XD07 J-UHD).
Would this rip SACD? What software should be used with it?
There was a software that came with it that can rip CDs called CyberLink.

How do I clear false metadata (for Audiobooks)

  7. Re: When you rip a CD, how can you make it go into jut one folder instead of two fold

Anyways, I'm using it and out of 3 CDs, the 1st and 3rd one turned out right (1.01, 1.02... 3.01, 3.02...) but the 2nd CD turned out like "01, 02, 03"
  8. Re: When you rip a CD, how can you make it go into jut one folder instead of two fold

For this one, I see that the folder is named like "Artist - (name of Album)" If I wanted to change the hyphen to an em-dash, what change should I make to this code?

    edit: nevermind, i changed the...
  9. Getting this error: Error writing AIFF stream to file. [dEncoder_AIFF::EncodeBlock]

Does this mean the CD blocks it from being copied?
If so this is weird, because every track was copied fine except for the very last one.
  10. Re: When you rip a CD, how can you make it go into jut one folder instead of two fold

How would you change this code if you don't want to include the artist at the beginning of the track title?
  11. Do you think including name of artist in track is unnecessary

I'm not sure if I want the name of the artist in the beginning of the track.
The only time I would find this useful is when I put certain tracks from various albums into a folder in my Music folder...
  12. Re: When you rip a CD, how can you make it go into jut one folder instead of two fold

I'm also thinking I might want the name of the artist in the beginning of the track.

  13. Re: When you rip a CD, how can you make it go into jut one folder instead of two fold

I see it even after ripping.
I can't find the "when ripping" option, though I do see the "after ripping" option.

Oh wait I was able to fix the problem, by pressing fn+delete at the end of the...
  14. Re: When you rip a CD, how can you make it go into jut one folder instead of two fold

    @paulch

Thank you. When I tried it, it's showing up as "(name of artist)-(name of album)"
I would like to have a space before and after the hyphen.
Also the tracks all have 2 underspace at the...
  15. When you rip a CD, how can you make it go into jut one folder instead of two folders?

What happens is it makes a folder that has the name of the album artist, and within that folder is another folder with the album.

I would rather have it so that there is only one folder with name...
  16. Re: Is it possible to rip a CD directly to an NAS drive?

I don't know, I don't have it yet, I'm trying to decide whether to buy it or not.
  17. Is it possible to rip a CD directly to an NAS drive?

For example, WD My Cloud drive: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-my-cloud-home-6tb-personal-cloud-white/5990210.p?skuId=5990210

Or would you have to rip to the internal drive or external drive that...
  18. How do you change album cover that you've already chosen for an album?

When you rip a CD, you can choose a picture to for art cover, but if you later wanted to change, how do you do that?

    What does confidence mean?

If it says inaccurate (confidence: 6) what does that mean?
  20. Is there a way of knowing how many frames need to be re-ripped without Secure mode?

I'm in a hurry and can't afford to wait for hours to rip the CDs.

Is there a way to know how many frames would have to be re-ripped for each track that is inaccurate, after Burst ripping all...
  21. If your time limit aborts the re-rip before all frames are re-ripped

If it take 1 hour and 10 minutes to re-rip 25 frames, but if you have your maximum time limit as 1 hour, and so when you have 4 frames left when your re-ripping is aborted, does that mean you are...
  22. Is it possible to get pops etc even when you get Accurate on a track?

Or would Accurate mean that there's guaranteed to be no audible pops in the track?
  23. Re: How many frame does it take to make a noticeable noise in the track?

    1. MacBook Pro 15 inch (2014)
    2. Quad-core i7 processor.

Re: What does it mean when it says "X AR"

But couldn't that mean that it matched the same errors as before?
Or is it hard to get exactly the same errors so that if it has same CRC that means it is accurate?
