Great, looking forward to 17.1!
Thx, nope, that is not the case. Meanwhile, I returned to v.16.5, I think I will wait for an interim release before using v17 again
Meantime this now happens to M4A-files as well. Again just a single file of a ripped cd is not tagged (the file is otherwise properly playable). This implies that I have to check manually each and...
I rip a cds with MultiEncoder
All tags are written correctly to the WAV-files and to the M4A-files as well. However, with the FLAC-files each time (just) one of the files has no tags at all.
How...
I am aware of that, Spoon. I used this the past years however since v17 this does not work anymore, see post *3
Automate that in a specific profile, files are always automatically named for all encoders (also when I use Multi Encoders) used as per a given convention. Instead of having to manually add such...
I found the following solution
When directing dBpoweramp to the location where I want to save the files, I select (Output to) Edit Dynamic Naming. I then manually add the parameter...
My issue is related to RolandP's.
Until version 17.0 I used for each encoder included in the Multi Encoder Mode the following Naming Convention:
[MAXLENGTH]75,[artist][] -...
Thanks for your quick reply
How do I rip the indexes of a cd to separate tracks?
I would like to join this minority. Cd's from the early 80's use indexes in stead of tracks. Would appreciate the possibility to convert an 'index' to a 'track'
Thank you very much, Spoon. That appears to have been the cause
Suddenly, I am unable to rip a cd. After the start of ripping dBpoweramp[16.6, Secure rip, Multi Encoder to WAV, FLAC and ALAC] "rushes" through the tracks and generates "error code: 2. ...
In CD ripper, v16b2, a tag is suddenly is not written any more, i.e. Number of Movements. Would very much appreciate a fix
Thanks a lot, Peter for your double check. I will now check with Audirvana.
P.S.
Also the value filled in for 'Soloists' ends up as an empty field in Audirvana
alac (through using Multi Encoder)
I found the following glitch. Don't know whether it's caused by Dbpoweramp's CD ripper 16.2 beta 3 or Audirvana Plus 3.1.1.
When ripping, I fill in a value for 'Style' in Dbpoweramp. This value...
Since I rip mainly classical music for use with Audirvana, I use the Tags Period and Style.
Example
Ludwig van Beethoven, 33 Veränderungen über einen Walzer von Anton Diabelli op.120 ('Diabelli...
Thanks very much, Spoon
I then choose the option ' As s single tag '/' separated'. Is that the correct one?
In Music converter when converting to Alac two composers are saved as composer1;composer2. The semi-colon is not replaced by a forward slash so the second composer is lost in iTunes.
In cd-ripper 'Edit Dynamic Naming' and creating new directories, now works like a charm. Thank you very much

Eventually, after a complete (cold) reboot I (accidentally) found out that it did install the third...
