If you look at the title bar of the Windows explorer window, it shows ', The' as part of the path name, so even Windows is showing that, even if Windows does not...

If the naming string is:
[origpath]\[origfilename]
Then the filename is not touched, even if illegal on the system. This is in R17, R14 would be totally different.
Which version of dBpoweramp do you have?
What is your naming string? (in Output To)
No, the whole volume is increased at the same time, like changing the volume knob on your stereo would not affect the dynamic range.
Use the dap effect volume normalise set to peak to peak.
Only number 1 is pretty much guaranteed to be error free.
Number 2 relies on your drives ability to detect errors, as the track did not match AccurateRip, if other tracks did and the confidence...
Certain settings are drive based, not profile based, the ones highlighted in yellow on the options page are not profile based.
First profile, choose the encoder FLAC, 2nd profile choose WAVE, now load the first profile again and it should show flac as the encoder. If not then something is stopping the writing of profiles.
Yes 1024 KB is a safe value for drive caching removal.
You should let perfectTunes monitor your whole library, not adding or removing individual folders.
They are stored.
If you are missing art, you would need an external program, such as PerfectTUNES which runs on a PC or MAC:

We have always ordered by tags, so would be alphabetical, unless album by year is selected.
To both also, Mike you see a high CPU usage?
The cpu would be used when scanning the tracks, we would not expect any cpu usage when the NAS is not indexing, unless something is hammering the...
It is the program which decides which to display (album artist or artist), asset just presents both as required by UPNP standard. Other apps do not present Album artist at all.
How many tracks do you both have?
Run Batch Ripper, next to the profile box at the top click 'Edit' and CD Ripper appears to edit the settings.
Unless the files are removed then added again later, they should not be re-listened to. The files will be listed though.
It is better to use the DSP effect Resample to 48KHz because our resampler is better than the one in lame (if the source was not already 48KHz, if always 48KHz then no need).
Select the Wave encoder, choose Compressed >> Settings
On my Windows 10 it lists CCITT U-Law
any codecs on that page are provided by Windows, not dBpoweramp, they are system encoders.
If the files have changed, because of tagging change, or any file changes (look at last write for the file), they will be rescanned.
Try restarting Windows in Safe-Mode with Networking, then try CD Ripper R17.3, does it work?
Security software, restart your Windows in Safemode, this ensures nothing else is running, then install.
Linux is not as good as Windows to detect file changes, for this reason you are best setting it to rescan every 10 minutes.
