I'm assuming the app is following Windows rules of punctuation characters and not Mac, as I'm seeing some odd things in the re-encodes. I'm only using the trial of TuneFUSION as I also have Asset...
We use dBPoweramp throughout out post-production facility and I'd like to share some of the special profiles I've created over time with other users. I've looked in all the obvious places in the Mac...
Will do so, thanks again.
Just tried and confirmed the setting stays with the profile. I also assume that, since I'm forcing SRC to 48k, it doesn't need to be a separate DSP function... only dithering to 16bit.
Thanks...
Thanks for the reply, Spoon. Will that change ALL other MP3 encodes or only this one profile?
Thanks again!!
Just confirmed this also happens in Windows v16.6, so it's not just a Mac problem.
Just confirmed this is ONLY happening with MP3 conversion. I checked some older encodes I did to AAC from 96k WAV and they're at 48k.
Again, I'd appreciate it if anyone else can confirm this.

I got a complaint from one of our radio broadcasters that the files I'm sending them are NOT 48k. All of the production we do is at 44.1k/24bit and all other radio networks are taking 44.1k/256kbps...

Thank you!!!!
I have beta 4 and shift or command-select to highlight the files I want to encode. No key stroke options I try will TICK the randomly selected files, I still have to select them one at a time.

I DL'd the beta... how do you implement the selection? I command-select the staggered originals I want to encode which keeps them highlighted... then what? Thanks!
OSX, thanks for the reply!
I do a lot of Radio Program encoding using dBpoweramp and always use the Batch Converter because I may have as many as 8-different versions of a specific program to encode. After adding all metadata...
I do this all the time, but iTunes can also play 48k. I downsample lots of 96k 24bit files to play in iTunes as 48/16. IMHO, 96k converts to 48k much easier than going to 44.1k and, since iTunes...
What OS are you running on your Mac?
I just installed on a new Mac and want to get all of the presets I've created in a different controlroom. Have looked in the obvious places and don't see anything.
Thanks
I don't think MP3s can deal with 24-bit files. Have you tried dithering to 16-bit as a DSP function before conversion?
Apologies to Spoon, I found the problem. Since I have a Mac with 24 processors, dBpoweramp uses them all... which is GREAT, except when it's trying to write 24 WAV files at one time. The poor...
The latest v15.1 is having problems doing Multi-Encodes, which I thought was fixed a while ago. I'm starting with a 24bit 44.1k WAV file and am doing a 256kMP3 and adding dithering to 16bit. At the...
I think I mentioned this several months ago and have opted to use the Win version running Parallels for multi encodes. I still use the Mac version for everything else.
Thanks, PeterP. The multiencoder is one of my FAVORITE features!!
Not entirely true, there's an OSX app I use called iVolume that does an amazing job with ReplayGain, and allows you to adjust the threshold at which it works. http://www.mani.de/en/ivolume/
Not...
Just tried doing a MULTI encode to MP3 256kCBR and WAV 16bit from 44.1k/24bit WAV files. Adding DSP options, dither to 16bit and TAG manipulation, isn't quite as smooth as on the Windows version. In...
There's an app called MAX that's a good ripper, or XLD. I use both for ripping and encoding to FLAC. What I really need for work is a good batch encoder for multiple formats. In the 'professional'...
