Hi, not using squeeze (well one instance, where this is not an issue). I use a Linn DS, where this functionality is on the wish-list. I do it now to once and for all get this work done and finished...
Thanks again, do you know how for instance Squeeze determines wheter it is an entire album. What if I have a playlist with three albums in sequence?
So I figured out how to get the Volume analysis done and tagged - both per track and album.
How will a played determine if it should use the album or track level
Lets say I play all tracks from...
Hi, it seems most of the cases where I get no info in RG Album is for a complete album. I.e none of the tracks gets RG Album.
I did a rerun on one of these albums and it worked, i.e. I got the...
OK, now I have run through the complete collection. To my dissapointment 1/4 of the tracks gets no tag for Replay Gain Album. There is info for Replay Gain Track.
Is there any clever way I can...
I had a similar problem untill I discovered that my iPod would only take cd-resolution. So I converted from FLAC to Apple Lossless (with DSP effect (?) set to 44.100 kHz and 16 Bits).
Thanks, Great answers!!
This time I did 5-6.000 tracks, approx 500 albums, perhaps 160 GB. It took 6 hours plus the time you suggest is required for writing tags.
Next time I plan to start...
In addition to the aabove I have another strange observation. When running a RG 'conversion', I get this statusinformation box, with four CPU. It counts down, for instance six hours. After...
Seems to work fine, but somehow during this setup I managed to set some DSP effect in the Options DSP effects box at the bottom, now I cant figure out to take that away. If for instance I want to run...
Fantastic, I'll try tonight. Ihave though discovered that my player (Linn DS) do not support is, yet - but is on the todo list
I'll get it done anyway. Great help!
I have downloaded the Replay Unity Gain, and it appears as expected. But I am not sure what it does, or what I should do.
Will this create an information, attached to album or track (will I not...
Gracie, Any medicine for the TB of music already ripped?
The difference in volume levels between diffrerend cd-rippings is a bit disturbing, especially when moving between modern and classical. Large library of FLAC music, from up to 24/196, so I am...
Anyway, it was easy to run a bactchjob to update all tags. Now the great Arrange Audio is running!
Nah, sorry to bother you. It seems Media Monkey do not necessarily update the Files Tags physically, just because I update the content in the 'monkey'.
Sorry...You found something :-)
Now I found something.
When listing tracks to be converted in dbpoweramp, i display also taginfo, where the Album Artist field is empty.
When listing the file in mediamonky the file contains...
Thanks, but I wonder (I sit in my office and cannot try).
I start with a file that looks like this
Music\[album]\[track] - [title]
and I want it to look like
Music\[album...
I am a frequent user of the great functionality Arrange Audio. Slowly I am getting there, fixing all my collection albums and various artists, hard work but the tool is great. Or rather has been...
Thanks for comments BrodyBoy,
I did try the Arrange Audio and it seems to be doing exactly what I want. I tested on 25 albums yesterday and have today started to execute 50.000 tracks today.
I...
Running a fairly large music Library, all in FLAC, maybe different compression levels. I have over the year harmonised Artist, Album etc. Thereby the file structure no longer corresponds to the...
I have a similar problem. I have high resolution files in Flac. I have converted them to Apple Lossless, but my Ipod cannot cope with these files. I beleive I need to go down to 16/44?
To do that...
I have some 1,7 TB of music in FLAC-format stored on Netgear NAS (24/196 files are enormous). For iPod use, primarily for car use, I have converted this to MP3 (128 kbps) and iTunes, stored on a...
This looks fantastic, in the sence that there seems to be a way forward. Could you send a ref to a document/manual - where I can understand how to execute these wonderful codes?
Many thanks
