    Re: Rip (HDCD-)Dolby-Surround-CD to 5.1-flac?

OK great. Try ripping the CD in CD Ripper, then play the files in foobar2000 with the Dolby decoder and see what happens. :)

Is the decoder you mention, foo_dsp_fsurround?

... I'm not sure but it maybe possible to rip the CDs with CD Ripper, and then extract the discrete channels with the eac3to tool?

    Re: Rip (HDCD-)Dolby-Surround-CD to 5.1-flac?

These CDs (Dolby Surround Audio Discography) would need software that could first read the disc and have a Dolby Surround Pro logic decoder.

Maybe take a look at DVD Audio Extractor or DVD Audio...
  4. Re: Music Converter is opening OneDrive instead of the Program

I think you maybe referring to Batch Converter?
  5. Re: Music Converter is opening OneDrive instead of the Program

That is correct, as this is the dBpoweramp Music Converter: Select Audio File(s) window.

After you select audio files, the dBpoweramp Music Converter window will appear.
  6. Re: Can dBpoweramp be used to edit metadata after you have already ripped the file

You can use dBpoweramp to manage/edit your metadata, try reading the Apple OS X Online Help.
  7. Re: Tag editing via batch convert - scripting vs rule based manipulation

For the type of editing you describe, I use MP3Tag.

I have created numerous scripts (called actions in MP3Tag) as MP3Tag supports regular expressions, something I wish Illustrate's software...

Have you had a look at PerfectTUNES?

Re: Saving settings with simultaneous rips

    Good grief.

You already have to open an instance of CD Ripper and select a drive. Are you saying that adding the 3rd step of selecting a profile is not acceptable?

Re: Saving settings with simultaneous rips

Precisely, any changes can be saved to a new profile. Profiles are there to avoid confusion.

For any instance of CD Ripper, you would simply select a drive, then select a profile and rip.

Re: Burst rip selected single track(s)?

The C2 Error Pointers for Error Detection setting is per drive, found in CD Ripper Options > Secure Settings.

Re: Possible improvement for version 7.3

I guess then, that the fix has only been implemented in Asset UPnP for Windows.

Re: Saving settings with simultaneous rips

Try creating a unique profile in CD Ripper for each CD Ripper instance, based on drive.

Re: Burst rip selected single track(s)?

That doesn't mean the disc is error free.

Sorry, I'm confused by the above statement.

If C2 Error Pointers for Error Detection is enabled, try disabling it.

Have you tried ripping the CD...

Re: Music Converter vs TuneFUSION ReplayGain

FYI, I tested earlier today, syncing a flac album to mp3 with RG DSP only (track gain, album gain, itunes album normalization) and only the track gain was written.

Re: Burst rip selected single track(s)?

Can you be more precise, i.e. what happens when you have tracks that just fail to rip? Are there any error messages?

    Re: HDCD rip with PE

Correct, there is an HDCD decoder for the Windows version.

To confirm, you have successfully configured the drive for accuraterip?

What is the source of your mp3 files?

Try running Test Conversion on your mp3 files and report the results here.

So, any tag editing with preserve date/time enabled and, with padding, TuneFUSION won't sync these files?
