I've actually found this to be inconsistent. Since your suggestion to use "Load from File" I've been using that method. However, I've just had an instance where, using that method, I've ended up...
And would it be possible to alter the behaviour so that dragging and dropping multiple files actually results in multiple arts being embedded? Or at least alter the behaviour so that it's clear that...
I find that the "Load from File" method gives exactly the same impression to the user as the "drag/drop" method... both show 1/3, 2/3, 3/3 as if you are adding multiple arts, and both allow you to...
It has been the case that I could drag multiple album arts into dbpoweramp and have all those stored in the ripped file... this was happening even though I didn't know it was happening (and at the...
Well what appears to happen when you stick two album arts into the album art panel is that both album arts (1/2 and 2/2) are embedded, but only album art 1/2 is placed into the folder, as folder.jpg....
I ripped a couple of CDs that weren't listed on AccurateRip, and I didn't have "secure" mode on. No explicit errors (red crosses) were given, but would you recommend I re-rip those with secure mode...
Great, thanks. Looks like a powerful filter feature in mp3tag -- very easy as you say to find those tracks that have > 1 embedded album art.
I assume that replacing folder.jpg in the album...
OK, so if it's marked as "secure" then move on (even if it's not a tick, but an "i").
And, might as well leave it on Secure mode, seeing as though most often it will just move on after verifying...
Usually dbpoweramp finds some decent album art, but I've ripped a few CDs where I've been able to locate better album art myself.
What I've done is just drag and drop the new album art onto that...
I have a couple of discs where a small number of tracks fail on AccurateRip. I've seen that if ALL fail, then it's likely that your disc is just different. But if only a small number fail, then...
Is there a reference somewhere which sets out the rules for m4a / ALAC tags? I'd like to go back through my collection to check that all the tags (especially ones with multi-value type separators...
OK :) it sounds like it should be possible. It's one of those tasks that, for an inexperienced scripter like me, it will probably take longer to code up something that works than to just copy...
I'm tagging ALAC files. Aren't these just ID3 tags?
Referring to the Genre tag, as mentioned in my post, dbpoweramp insists on tagging as "Pop\Rock" rather than "Pop/Rock" -- the latter seems...
I'm new to dbpoweramp (still in trial) and it looks good. I wonder whether dbpoweramp's scripting capability will help me with this task...
I had ripped most of my CD collection to AAC, at a...
I'm trying out dbpoweramp.
In the main window before ripping (to ALAC) it looks up the Genre as "Pop/Rock". But in the ripped files, this is applied as "Pop\Rock" - i.e. "/" has become "\". ...
