Hey kas,
unfortunately there is a big gap between theory and practice. We have experienced problems even within windows itself. There are a lot of aspects to take in count. In my company we...
It is not a bug 'cause a windows standard setup allows a path length of max. 260 characters only. Even if you enable NTFS long paths you can't be sure, that all of your programs and apps can handle...
Seems like you use Album Artist Sort in your naming string and that those tags contain the name followed by comma and the.

This cache is a FIFO storage (first in, first out). It is not a persistent storage. So it might be incomplete if you have a hugh number of CDs ripped.

Hey JAM,
my suspicion is that you have used a DSP like "ReplainGain (Apply)" to boost the sound level.
Dat Ei
The procedure is that dBpoweramp like EAC reads the TOC (table of contents) of the CD, in which are some general informations like the number of tracks, their lenghts etc. pp. is stored. Those infos...
Once we had a secretary who told me, that she doesn't zip compress documents for emails, because they will not look so sharp if you print them later on...

You can save the settings with the DSP as a profile.

Hey dped91,
you did not get the answers in this thread right. You need the complete CD to identify the CD and the get the right checksums for AccurateRip, but you don't have to rip all tracks. You...
'; ' and '\\' only represent the delimiter for the multivalue tags in the user interface. The way the tags are stored is identical.
Dat Ei
Does this track have a tag "album artist sort"? If so, what does it contain?
Dat Ei
The accurate rip checksum exists per track.so you can rip a single track. But it is the complete CD which identifies the CD abd decides which checksums to receive from the database.
Dat Ei
This can be just a mismatch. Different CDs can produce the same key to access the databases.

Hey John,
ok, now I get it and I think I got it wrong. Sorry about that!
Dat Ei
Hey John,
ZoneRipper is not dBpoweramp CD Ripper and not a product of illustrate. So I guess that you are asking the wrong community.
Dat Ei
dBpa CD Ripper without internet access? That means no accurate rip, no access to the metadata providers, no album art from the web?
Dat Ei
That way?

The current version R17 supports Windows 10 / 8.1 / 7 / Vista. You better change your OS sooner than later, cause XP is completely outdated, unsupported und unpatched for years.

Gary has no users, 'cause he is a user.

iTunes has no real error detection and error handling.

If you add two or more encoders to multi encoder, then you can configure one path for each encoder.
Dat Ei
You have to configure the path within the encoder itself. So you can configure different paths for the encoders.

Hey jcur0806,
I have a 50 inch TV at home, but I would never have the idea to use it as a computer display and to sit only 60cm in front of it. That is the main fault in the ergonomics of your...

Hey jcur0806,
you wrote, that the metadata review dialog opens almost completely full screen. So you can see it completely? If so, I don't understand the problem. Within dBpoweramp the dialog is a...
