Re: Lack of ability to minimise dbpoweramp 17

The OP did indicate that the picture is from the Batch Converter window.

My dBpoweramp Control Center window is missing both minimize and maximize icons. I expect, though, that this is by design.

    Re: Wrong titles, wrong album

This has happened to me occasionally. I just test the disc (as you did) and manually add the proper metadata if it's the CD it's supposed to be.
  3. Re: [EAC] Question: CDDB.sdf corrupted? Prevents AccurateRip uploads. Possible to rep

The EAC forum issue may be temporary. The rest of the site seems intact.

Re: Beginnings of songs cut off

I have quite a few discs that were mastered with the kind of error Spoon suggests. Sometimes the end of one track is prepended to the beginning of the next, or the beginning of a track is appended to...

    Re: Tta lossless

It may have been abandoned. There haven't been any changes to the Tau Software website for three and a half years, and the date for the latest version download is sometime in 2011.

  7. Re: Newish Ripper user - Rip Status Error Messages on 50% or more of attempts?

In my case, Win10 never remaps my NAS network share. It just tells me it can't remount it.

My workaround is to open File Explorer and click on the mapped drive in the Quick Access panel on the...
  8. Re: Any point to re-ripping CD's with R16.5 compared to R15.3?

Waste of time either way. I doubt there would be any significant improvements in new mp3 rips.

Re: Tags, Tags, and more Tags ...

Microsoft is known for messing with settings for its software when it comes to Windows updates.
  10. Re: Profiles change every time something is changed. Feature Request

Perhaps an option for displaying a dialog asking if profile changes should be saved would be useful. Dialog options would be to not save changes, overwrite the existing profile, or create a new one....
  11. Re: Won't RIP, Just constant ERROR on every track. Tried 2 drives

    Complete error message.
  12. Re: Strange Goings On! (PerfTunes/Foobar/Ripped FLACs)

I don't care about how much electricity the USB ports are using because I use a desktop PC and can afford the miniscule extra power use. I would rather the ports remain readily available at all times...

    Re: SD-card vs. SD-card (help?)

According to Crutchfield, the NW-A45 has "16GB internal flash memory, with up to 128GB additional storage (up to 144GB total memory)."

Sony's own website doesn't indicate the maximum SD-Card...

    Re: It's All About 'Style'

I'm fine with buying digital files, but I only buy MP3 when there is no better alternative, i.e., FLAC or CD, and I feel like I just have to have the song(s) in question.

    Qobuz is supposed to be...

    Re: It's All About 'Style'

It looks that way. The 'original' is missing "I'm an Old Cowhand."

Those prices are for the MP3 albums. The "Out of this World" CD is 17.78 GBP (and 23.98 USD). I see there is no CD listing for...

I sampled it and I think I will enjoy it, too. It's on the list for my next CD-buying binge. Thanks, Paul.

To add to schmidj's suggestion, you can also use the audio editor to move the bits that from the beginning of one track to the end of the track before, where it belongs. It can take a while when most...

    Re: FLAC Folder Properties Discrepency

If you ever buy a Mac, don't break it. I've seen reports of Apple outright refusing to repair or replace units suffering physical damage.

    Re: FLAC Folder Properties Discrepency

Your files copied over perfectly, so I doubt there is any problem with the PC.

You might want to try the Properties searches again when you have some spare time; it may be that they will now run...

Re: How Long to rip FLAC uncompressed

FLAC files are lossless, regardless of compression level. Ripping to uncompressed FLAC just wastes storage space.

I use FLAC Level 6 compression and one-hour CDs generally rip in about 3 minutes.
