    Re: Can't rip "Misty"

    That's not a good idea.

On the server, share the destination folder. Then, on your windows 10 desktop pc, either Add a network location OR Map a network drive using the server share. Finally, in...

  4. Re: How come my 24-bit CD's get ripped to 16-bit

All audio CDs are 16-bit. Which CD do you have that you believe is 24-bit?

Re: Dynamic Naming, Getting the current Month

On my Windows 10 Pro PC, the date format for [date] is dd/MM/yyyy.

This is the OS short date format specified in: Control Panel > Region

Try changing the OS short date format to MM-DD-YYYY and...

    Re: Can't rip "Misty"

Maybe, but without more information from you, it makes it difficult to narrow down the issue.

Despite previous rips, it is possible that network access to your server is now not possible. Are you...
  10. Re: Use Sort to order Display not working properly with French names

    Which player are you using?

... after setting the artist sort and album artist sort tags to 'Impératrice' did you Refresh Asset?
  11. Re: Could a CD from 1986 be defective by design?

... and when ripped using Defective By Design, you say it rips fine, so does fine mean you get an accuraterip?
  12. Re: Could a CD from 1986 be defective by design?

What does unable to be ripped mean exactly (please post any error messages).
  13. Re: Plastic Ono Band Ultimate Collection--shows Japanese song titles

Looks like you'll have edit the metadata manually.

    This might help:

Re: UTF-8 with BOM for ID3 and Vorbis Tags

Have you contacted Fiio about this?
  15. Re: No Audible Disadvantage in Using Burst Mode v Secure Mode

Depends on the end-user. Many use CD Ripper in order to get perfect copies of their CDs, something that cannot be guaranteed when using WMP, iTunes etc.
  16. Re: How Can You Add New Ripped Music to a Micro SD Card in a DAP?

    Why not?

You rip CDs to your library master folder on the laptop and TuneFUSION takes care of syncing that folder with your micro SD card.

... or, you could use something like FreeFileSync.
  17. Re: How Can You Add New Ripped Music to a Micro SD Card in a DAP?

    TuneFUSION?
  18. Re: No Audible Disadvantage in Using Burst Mode v Secure Mode

Is it that you aren't bothered about getting bit-perfect rips or is it that all your burst mode rips are accuraterips?

With today's processors, there's no benefit whatsoever in using FLAC...
  19. Re: Using CD ripper for WAV files from SD Card ?

    dBpoweramp Batch Converter

    Viel Glück! :)
  20. Re: Using CD ripper for WAV files from SD Card ?

CD Ripper only reads audio CDs (CD-DA).

You can batch convert your sd-card wav files to flac and then tag them manually using Edit ID-Tag, the dBpoweramp tag editor that is integrated into File...
  21. Re: Correct Artwork, Right Music but Artist, Album & Track Names are Bollocks

You should enable secure mode. It will only kick in if you don't get an accuraterip on 1st pass.
  22. Re: Unchecked Tracks I Didn't Want but They Have Still Been Ripped, Why FFS?

Hmm, using CD Ripper R16.6, Rip to FLAC, I just inserted a 24 track CD, selected tracks 2, 8 and 23 and clicked the Rip button.

    Result: 3 tracks ripped, tracks 2, 8 and 23.
  23. Re: Unchecked Tracks I Didn't Want but They Have Still Been Ripped, Why FFS?

Then I don't know what to suggest as I always rip the entire CD.
  24. Re: Unchecked Tracks I Didn't Want but They Have Still Been Ripped, Why FFS?

I hope you aren't here to defend WMP? :)
  25. Re: Correct Artwork, Right Music but Artist, Album & Track Names are Bollocks

You will need to manually edit the metadata.

If you are looking for an application that populates metadata, provides artwork automatically, produces bit-perfect audio copies and all you have to do...
