Re: End Of Symphonic Movements Cut Off

Finally figured out how to download Fubar2000 and get it to play the FLAC tracks I ripped to my NAS. The issue of crossfade/gapless is very definitely the Plex player. So now I need to figure out...

Re: End Of Symphonic Movements Cut Off

I've been looking at Plex but still have not found anything related to crossfade or gapless. Will keep looking and let you know if I find anything.

Re: End Of Symphonic Movements Cut Off

garym: Thanks for your reply. I am using dbpoweramp CD ripper in FLAC format. I like the idea that the issue may be crossfade. However, I am unsure where that option would be located. Is it...

End Of Symphonic Movements Cut Off

I only recently starting using CD Ripper to rip some classical music (after successfully ripping a large library of jazz and rock/pop). While the classical music is ripped and organized the way I...

    Spoon,

I am not finding the Bath Ripper configuration...where do I find that to reconfigure the drive?

When I run Batch Ripper I only see Rip, Refresh and Meta as function keys on the upper...
  8. Batch Ripper No Longer Finding Nimbie Disc Loader

After not using it the past couple of months, I just booted up my Dell Windows 10 laptop that is connected to the Acronova Nimbie disc loader. I tried using Batch Ripper, but it now can't see the...

Re: Strugglig With A Naming Convention

    GaryM:

Thank you for all of the insight about server options and software managers. I will definitely explore those over the next few days.

My "end points" are driven by Savant, i.e., all of...

Re: Strugglig With A Naming Convention

Gary, thanks for the comments. Any suggestions for what music server(s) you would recommend to run the files I have ripped onto a NAS? I defaulted to Plex simply because it was pre-loaded on the...

Re: Strugglig With A Naming Convention

Thank you all for your input. I have been playing around with different combinations and it turns out that the Plex software that I am using to play the ripped music appears to rely on its own...

Re: Strugglig With A Naming Convention

I will give the replacement of the "sort" a try over the weekend. However, I would still be interested if anyone has a suggestion for how to insert the phrase provided elsewhere in the Forum about...

Re: Strugglig With A Naming Convention

That sounds like a very interesting approach, but I am not familiar with how these metadata tags are used. My plan is to run my music library under Plex once all the CDs are ripped to my NAS. Where...

Re: Strugglig With A Naming Convention

No sort tags per se, but I am planning on having the folders (i.e., the artists' names) stored alphabetically on my NAS to make it easier to find an artist and to organize playlists, recognizing that...

    Strugglig With A Naming Convention

I am also new to dBpoweramp. I have a collection of about 1,000 jazz CDs (probably over 1,500 discs) that I had previously listened to on a Kaleidescape, which is rapidly failing. I have purchased...
