Re: Help setting up AssetUPnP on Raspberrypi

    Type crontab -e
    Enter
    @reboot sudo mount -a

    Then reboot

I found that later versions of rasbian stopped automounting what was listed in the fstab file.

I then rebuild my RPi to DietPi, as...

Re: Asset UPnP for Mac & Linux, R6.3 beta

Hi Mike, Why not just leave the NAS powered on. I have the disks set to &*8216;spin down&*8217; when not active and I find that the Rescan from Asset doesn&*8217;t cause them to spin back up, if...

Re: Asset UPnP 6.2 DSD or DoP

    Hi Mike,
I also have DSF & DFF set to “as is” on Asset.
I have my UPnP Bridge set to DoP for DSD support
Both are seen by my NDS (4.8) as “DSD64”

    Thanks,
    Simon

    Re: Asset view on Ipad

Actually have this too. I just repeat the loading of the view, normally Album Artist / Artist, so 1000 - 2000 entries to be cached, until the white line makes it fully to the right.
    I presumed it is...

Re: Asset R6.2 for Mac / Linux

Also no errors to report of the ARMv7 version on a RPi2.
However, have not undertaken a complete rescan for a while, so can't comment on the feedback from @psweetie.
    Thanks,
    Simon.

Re: Upstream art - jpg vs png

The folder.jpg is associated with the track files at the &*8216;Album&*8217; level, and this artwork is normally then used for any &*8216;upstream&*8217; purposes.
If you look within the file...

Re: Raspberry fstab setting for mounting drive

But it looks like /home/pi/DLNA is mounted, can you navigate to it?

    Also try sudo mount -a
This should mount all entries in your fstab file

So then is your setting in Asset&*8217;s config for...

  21. Re: Asset on Raspberry pi steaming from Ready nas to Naim NDx5

It will be under the \usr\bin\asset directory, I would imagine, but start with /usr/bin

R6 introduces the concept of multiple instances, each instance then runs from a separate directory etc.
    Now...
  22. Re: Asset on Raspberry pi steaming from Ready nas to Naim NDx5

Where has R6 installed itself? Once the installer has run, you need to run the executable from this directory.
I believe it was different to the location used for R5

    Thanks,
    Simon.
  23. Re: Asset on Raspberry pi steaming from Ready nas to Naim NDx5

The Linux is "sudo rm -r /usr/bin/asset/bin" and "sudo rm -r /home/pi/.dbpoweramp"

Have you backed up your SD Card, by taking an image, before you start removing directories?

    Thanks,
    Simon.
  24. Re: Asset on Raspberry pi steaming from Ready nas to Naim NDx5

The Asset binaries are installed in /usr/bin/asset/bin
    2031
and the user files are in /home/pi/.dBpoweramp
    2032

I suggest you kill all Asset related processes, remove these directories and...
