Batch Ripper stopps at N-1 disks

I have a computer with dual CD drives. Both are configured in dbpoweramp with auto-eject. When I am ripping multiple disks, usually audiobooks, I set the number of disks in the header, and run both...

  3. Re: Transfer Batch Ripper Tags to file MetaTags

Nothing is written to the ID tags in CD Ripper nor the resulting file. Are these the profile settings you refer to?

Re: How do I batch rip audiobooks

I agree that dbPoweramp has some strange quirks and problems. I guess it is time to give up on this one.

Re: How do I batch rip audiobooks

    This works:
    If Genre=[anyvalue]
    SET Comment=[Genre]

    This does not:
    If Genre=[anyvalue]
    SET Comment=[tag]Batchname[]

    nor this:

Re: How do I batch rip audiobooks

If I set the artist and album in the manual metadata, it does work. What I am trying to do is obtain the album information from the batch name.

Re: How do I batch rip audiobooks

Thanks for the suggestion, but it did not work. Maybe it is not possible in the dbp program design.
  11. Re: Multiple silent files on ripping CD with 15.2 / Windows 8.1

There 13 Gb available on the temp drive.
  12. Re: Multiple silent files on ripping CD with 15.2 / Windows 8.1

    Burst alone is OK
    Burst w/ Normalize fails
    Secure w/o DSP's fails

I went back to burst with no other processing and it is working again.
  13. Re: Multiple silent files on ripping CD with 15.2 / Windows 8.1

Another datapoint: I switched from secure rip to burst and got 40 straight rips with no difficulty. I then added the volume normalize DSP back in and if failed on the second disk.

    So both secure...

Re: How do I batch rip audiobooks

I have made some small progress with work-arounds. I can get some segregation by placing the book name into the Batch Name field and setting the naming string to

    [tag]batchname[]\[tag]batchname[]...
  16. Re: Tanscoding: Yet Another File & Folder Structure Naming Pattern Question

Is there an option that allows elements such as "Batch ID" or "Batch Name" from the batch ripper main screen to be added to the file/folder names?
