This is bizarre. As noted above the new beta version has been running apparently problem free since 6th March. Today I logged into my QNAP to find Asset is hogging nearly 4GB of memory!

Well so far the new beta version (in either free or premium form) does not appear to suffer from the memory usage problem.

I think I've found what was causing the issue - with both Trial and Premium versions if I configure Asset to stream FLAC files as WAV then after a couple of days Asset is using all of the NAS's RAM,...

As a test I've removed the Premium version and re-installed the trial version. Will report back in due course.
