Thank you :)

Hi all
I read an old thread from 2014 which confirmed that if there's no report/nothing happens at the end of running Test Conversion, that means all is good and there are no errors or corruption....
Thanks, but what's the best order generally speaking when changing both?
That's good news then, thanks for letting me know.
And does the order of the DSPs make a difference? Bit depth change then resample? Or resample and then bit depth change?
Cheers
Thanks for the reply.
Good news that it doesn't hurt to convert. I don't like pain ;) When I A/B tracks before and after converting, I've not heard any differences to date, so that's good.

Hi all
I've just finished sorting through a bunch of downloaded and random albums (FLAC and mp3) ready to tag and integrate into my library of ripped CDs etc.
As part of that process I like...
Yes, it all makes sense now... And yes, I'll be getting rid of that column :)
If you do end up looking into it, would you also be able to look at why the same thing happens with the CD Ripper...
Right, ok - that makes perfect sense.
So would I be right in saying that unless I intend to DO something with the track gaps, there is no point in having the column there in the first place? Or...
Thanks Spoon.
Any thoughts on the first part my original post RE hiding/moving the notification or choosing which screen it comes up on?
And I'm also interested ot know why others do not have...
OK, so here are the screenshots. I'd be mighty surprised if they were not to do with DBPA
Perhaps someone else can say whether they have/haven't seen this before? And maybe Spoon can shed...
Hi
Thanks for the replies. I don't have and never have had EAC installed so it is nothing to do with that...
How strange! I'm pretty certain it is DBPA doing it. When I load the disc,...
Hi again
The Detecting Gaps / Detecting Indexes box that comes up when you first put in a CD is presumably a new-ish feature. It wasn't there in R14.4...
Anyhow, is it possible to hide or...
Hi all
I'm just putting the finishing touches to my DBPA settings, after having upgraded to R16.4 a couple of months back. I'm still unsure about a small handful of things and wondered if anyone...
I'm guessing not because I just went ahead and did it straight away and the tracks are now passing the Test Conversion without issue :) Very helpful indeed. Thanks Gary.
Fantastic! Didn't even know that these options were available :) I'll give that a go. Many thanks for the heads up.
I'm in the UK. Not exactly sure what the rules are here, but at the end of the day I don't think I am alone. And far worse crimes are committed (not by me I hasten to add :) )
So I think I'll...
That explains things RE Windows and why the option disappeared...
So the corruption test just tests whether the files are corrupting due to hard drive failure? Is that it? If not, what else...
Hi all
Following on from this thread:
https://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?40761-quot-FLAC-Audio-File-Passed-Verification-quot-what-about-when-it-doesn-t-pass
I am going to untick...
That's interesting... So every time you rip you leave your computer well alone and don't do anything on it while the rip is in progress? If that's the case, may I ask why? Have you heard of it...
I thought he said it does not work as people expect it to, rather than it not working correctly.
Anyhow, I'll just untick it then, ignore what it says in the manual, and use Test Conversion from...
Maybe other people are not having the same problem and it is therefore irrelevant to them?
If you guys or any other users were coming on here to say that the same thing was happening and so we...
Thanks Jailhouse for the info and the reassurance. It is nice to know I'm not the only person out there who stresses over these minor things. I guess I'll just do as you say and carry on...
You are right, that's exactly what happened! Sorry, I was having a total dumb moment :) All good for me though as numerical order is what I want anyhow...
I presume the rules are different for numbers then? I have my own genre system, and all of my genres are prefixed with a number. When I hit the drop down menu in CD Ripper, the genres are all in...
The help file / manual has this to say:
"After Encoding Verify Written Audio - once compression is complete the compressed audio will be read and compared to the source, verifying the compression...
