    VBR means Variable Bit Rate, where it adjusts to suit the music. If you want constant bit rate choose the CBR option, that said VBR can sound better than CBR because although lower bit rates are...

    Possibly your sound system is better at playing back standard frequencies, ie: 44.1KHz, 48KHz, 96KHz, 176KHz, 192KHz

    It blends a new speech codec which can dynamically swap between speech and music encoding. If just encoding music then not much for you.

    Until you get a 'congratulations accuraterip has been configured' message then it is not yet correctly configured.
