  1. Sticky: Re: External Tag Scripting (ID Tag Processing & Update ID Tag)

A few of my tracks (3-10 out of a few thousand) emerge from the conversion with missing ID tags. I want to figure out why this is happening.
A debug log is not that important, but an error log would...
  2. Sticky: Re: External Tag Scripting (ID Tag Processing & Update ID Tag)

Do you have any tips for adding debugging to scripts?
I tried adding a log method, but no file gets written.

I'm not a fan of a single file log since I am running on multiple cores and I...

Re: Am I a victim of the Loudness War?

The article talks about dBFS, not pure volume.
dBFS (Wikipedia) is dB Full Scale, or relative to the maximum of...

Re: Am I a victim of the Loudness War?

Am I a victim of the Loudness War?

I've been reading up on the Loudness War the Loudness War.

I have a lot of remastered CD's and I'm staring to wonder how many of my discs have reduced dynamic range due to de-ranged producers.

  7. Re: Batch Ripper: All Media Guide Lookups Remaining: (none) as soon as activated

    Thanks,
But I did not enter any user name at first. And I rechecked my Vista installation, where it is also 0 and no user name or password has been entered.

So I think you may have a bug yet.
  8. Batch Ripper: All Media Guide Lookups Remaining: (none) as soon as activated

    Hi,

I've just purchased DBPowerAmp Reference and stuck 4 Samsung s203 drives in my system. Time to rip my 2000 CDs.

    Re: No CD Drive Found

    Hi Toolburn,
What do you mean by "Windows Internal" for communications? Where do I set that?

I'm running as administrator (logged on as administrator) and I've even disabled user account control.

    Re: No CD Drive Found

    Followup:
Tried the r13 alpha and batch ripper as well. Same problem.
It found the drive once while a DVD was inserted.

When it is just sitting there, it seems to automatically rescan for drives...
