What have I missed? I haven't logged on here in years.
For future reference, you can just type it in a search window within REGEDIT by pressing CTRL and F . It's saved me a ton of time from having to search up exact keys manually.
It already does.. IdV3 tags and such..
Edit: SORRY! Didn't read carefully, you said CD text... In that case, I'd have to agree with your post. Shouldn't dBpowerAMP Music Player have such a simple...
On a side note [related to this thread though!] doesn't dBpowerAMP already tell you how many codecs you have after installing? This goes for both trial AND registered versions.
Bear in mind: The wav file that outputs should be a standard WAV file, i.e. you can play the wav file in an audio player besides Sony, like Windows Media Player. If that is possible, then your wav...
@Spoon: I think you just responded to a different user with a different question.
I really wish the prices for dual layer DVD's would drop.
One CD that isn't accurate completely isn't going to change your enjoyment of that CD, is it? I'm asking out of seriousness, not trying to sound inconsiderate! :)
Also, if your running programs are on the same hard drive as the one you are ripping music to, you risk data fragmentation on that hard drive. Of course, if you have a fast hard drive (like SATA I or...
Ah, just checked it out cdfreaks.
VERY good resource, I gotta thank you for that site.
Well, first off, what kind of processor / speed of processor do you have? Also, if I'm not mistaken, compression level 5 should take the longest (or is that level 1? correct me if i'm wrong)
Alright, thanks for the tip.
When I burn anything to a DVD medium, I make sure I burn at 2x (if it's a full ISO copy then I just let the computer sit there overnight).
Out of curiosity, have you tried the LAME encoder yet? I heard that Fraunhofer does better at converting classical music or something.. I might be wrong, and because I have not posted any proof along...
I mean like, I know that burning many CD's in a sequence deteriorates the life of your CD burner, but I was wondering if ripping CD's would also cause some damage to the CD drive too.
Hm... I remember having this issue about 1.5 years ago. LtData helped me through the process, and steps to fix it are the same as in this thread.
Perhaps this thread should be merged into the FAQ?...
I never understood the reasoning behind multiple cd ripping... I can understand if multiple CD drives are used, but even if you had, say, 10 drives, wouldn't you be reducing the life-span of all your...
Wait what? Did someone hack your account or something? I swore, you were one of the stay-long members.... or am I thinking of a different user?
Slayah, out of curiosity, may I ask:
What bitrate do you find "unappealing"? That is, say you were listening to the radio and you heard this cool song, and went on iTunes or some other media...
Whoa whoa whoa guys, no fighting, debates are fine, but this could get out of hand.
The one thing I'd like to say is:
If a Mac version of dBpowerAMP Music Converter is decided, it won't be for...
3. If you can't get a new copy of a disc, there is always iTunes or another internet music downloading site, but they won't be lossless, (it'll be damn near close if you choose the highest bitrate...
What operating system are you using? Did you delete the dBpowerAMP folder BEFORE you tried uninstalling the program? What version of dBpowerAMP are you using? Is dBpowerAMP installed to your primary...
I've been researching around at NewEgg.com for the best brand of dual layer blank DVD media.
So far, through reading through reviews:
Memorex - Heck no. More negative reviews than positive, and...
Well, you see, that would be your problem.
First off, unless you have decent computer protection, you're risking your computer to countless viruses, spyware and malware all over the Gnutella2...
You mean audio books? (Forgive me if it's just a UK-grammar issue, I live in the United States)
.m4a is a type of audio codec that's commonly used today, along with other codecs out there such as...
I second the idea! It sounds great, such a feature wouldn't require much programming as it's just a matter of having an .INI file for each profile setting.
The idea could be expanded to multiple...
