    Wow - That helped immediately.
    Thank you.
  2. Metadata disappears suddenly after 4 seconds

    Hallo,
By some CDs the correct metadata is shown for about 4 seconds but disappears suddenly, before I can rip the CD.
The moment the Internet query ends, all fields are empty again.
    All...

  4. Saving settings and profiles to an new computer

We just bought a new computer for batch ripping. The old computer will be replaced.
Is there any way to save or copy the settings and profiles and transfer them to the new computer?
    For example...

    File names are too long

While ripping a Classic CD collection, we found that the pathnames are getting too long.
The reason is that some titles have insanely long names.

To prevent this in the future we must use the...
  8. Re: Error Recovery with Hardware - not with Software

Yes - they are really the same DVD drives: TEAC DV-W5600S
The 4 manual drives are external drives connected via SATA.
And the Nimbie is conected via USB 3.0.
  9. Re: Error Recovery with Hardware - not with Software

I got answer from Acronova Support:

To our knowledge, there is no firmware update available for TEAC drives.

For your reference, TEAC drives are designed specifically for autoloaders, which...
  10. Re: Error Recovery with Hardware - not with Software

Thank you. The drivers are the same.
    Microsoft 21.6.2006 / 10.0.17.134.137
    TEAC DV-W5600S

The firmware is unknown to me. There is nowhere a page to update the firmware.

  11. Re: Error Recovery with Hardware - not with Software

    Thank you.
    I did not know that.
We speak of heavily maltreated CDs from customers:
What I can see is that the CD-Ripper needs 5 minutes for ripping a CD with at least 1 inaccurate track. ...
  12. Error Recovery with Hardware - not with Software

We use a Nimbie for Batch-Ripping CDs for our clients.
And we have 4 DVD drives for manual ripping with the CD Ripper.
These drives are intended for reworking scratched CDs after polishing - or...
  13. Re: Unfortunately some different CDs go to the same directory

    Thank you.
    Both solutions are absolutely awesome.
I will check which is the best and fits all customers.
  14. Unfortunately some different CDs go to the same directory

    Hallo,
Unfortunately some different CDs go to the same directory.
I was wondering why 672 CDs of a customer only produce 623 folders.
This is because some CDs were 1/3, 2/3 3/3. And the album...

    Re: GD3 metadata limitation

    Thank you.
So I have to buy lookups.

But "how" does BatchRipper "know" that I have bought a package with lookups?
I do not see anywhere a menu or anything else where I can tell the...

    GD3 metadata limitation

We have a customer who would like to have his 1.000 CDs with classic music tagged only with GD3.

Is there a limitation of GD3 lookups when ripping with Batch Ripper and Nimbie?
    Can I handle...
  18. Re: How can we reject "inaccurate" CDs with a Nimbie NB21

Many thanks for this very fast support.
That was so easy. dbPowerAmp and Nimbie are a great team.
  19. How can we reject "inaccurate" CDs with a Nimbie NB21

    Hallo,

We bought a Nimbie NB21 these days and we have a special problem:
We use dbPowerAmp, because our customers prefer FLAC-Format and absolut error-free copying of the CDs.
    But the CDs...
