  1. Re: Header Metadata defaults - can they be personalised (Mac)

    Not sure what that means...
Are the header fields configurable, or is any Metadata like Labels that we add manually always going to be in the Tags section?
  2. Re: Header Metadata defaults - can they be personalised (Mac)

Hi Spoon, thanks - though when I try adding Label that way it shows in the bottom but does not add the detail to the CD tracks - see images that I hope show it. Also, is there no way to add Label to...
  3. Header Metadata defaults - can they be personalised (Mac)

    Hi,

Is there a way to add default fields to the header in CD ripper? I always add in the Label details, but the only way I can do this is by adding a Meta field in the bottom box on every CD I...
  4. Re: Ripping using AIFF - can I select VBR rather than CBR?

Thanks Peter - I noticed that my FLAC files are encoded with VBR, so I wasn't sure if the same thing was possible with AIFF, but if it's a compressed audio file only setting, then I don't need to...
  5. Re: Ripping using AIFF - can I select VBR rather than CBR?

Morning Spoon! Thanks for coming back. So when I see CBR as the encoded Bit rate mode, I can just ignore that?
  6. Ripping using AIFF - can I select VBR rather than CBR?

Hi all - please don't pile on if this has been answered elsewhere, as I've tried looking back through and nothing matches what I'm looking for - I think!

I work on a Mac, and rip at lossless AIFF....

Re: Metadata / General Album Fields - Label

Because that option wasn't showing - I've now managed ti find where to locate the metatags to add "Label" to it. It would still be far easier to just have it as a default option at the top.

Metadata / General Album Fields - Label

    Hi,

It's possible I'm missing something, but I wondered if it's possible to have 'Label' as a universal album field in the top of the screen?

I can change Year, Genre, Artist etc and it...
  9. Re: Convert Higher Resolution files to lower

In fact, I just need to use Resample setting max at 48khz. No need for triangular dither or bit depth changes.
  10. Re: Convert Higher Resolution files to lower

Thanks - except I want to convert to 48/24, not CD quality 44.1/16.
  11. Re: Convert Higher Resolution files to lower

Thanks - except that I wish to create a 48/24 file, not 44.1/16
  12. Convert Higher Resolution files to lower

    Hi everyone

I've looked through and can't see an answer - apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.

I have some hi-res audio files, encoded at 192khz/24 bit, and need to convert them to a...

    Re: Multi-Encoder File Sving Woes

Yes - I realise that, it was the fact that each encoder *also* needs to be configured separately within the multi-encoder section, effectively replicating what I had already done per encoder, that...

    Re: Multi-Encoder File Sving Woes

Hi Spoon - perfect, thanks! I didn't realise I had to change the settings for each encoder *within* multi encoder as well - I assumed they would have brought through from where I set up each "Rip To"...

    Re: Multi-Encoder File Sving Woes

Thanks - yes, have already done that, each to its own folder on my hard drive. But what it's not doing its creating folders *within* the folder when using multi-format - when done individually (ALAC...

    Multi-Encoder File Sving Woes

    Hi guys,

I'm using the CD ripper to rip in FLAC. ALAC and mp3 formats. If I rip just FLAC, then it follows the normal protocol of saving the album into one folder onto my designated hard drive...
