Re: MP3/FLAC to AAC - ID3v1/ID3v2 tags lost

Winamp shows tags on the mp3 files before conversion, correct? If you convert to a format besides AAC, such as FLAC, do the tags carry over?

    Re: Help salvaging these CD-Rs

You might want to also look into one of the CD "resurfacers" that buffs off some of the bottom of the CD to try to buff past some of the scratches. I think one example is a SkipDoctor or similar. ...

Re: Any point above 320 on iPOD

Re: Add album art and correct tags

You cannot use dMC to add information from the meta-providers on already-ripped files. Sorry.
  13. Re: I need auxiliary input, which product do I need?

To clarify: Since dMC r12, Auxiliary Input is no longer included with dMC. If you managed to find an old version, it would not work on Windows Vista or Win7, due to changes in the sound architecture.

Re: False positives from Comodo virus scanner

It looks like Comodo doesn't like that the files have two extensions, which is a ridiculous way to flag a file as a virus.

    Re: support Mac OSX

There is only one developer, Spoon, so the chance of dBpoweramp being ported to any OS besides Windows is very slim.
  21. Re: Doesn't work with W7...even in XP compatible mode

wayspooled: rocknharp is talking about the "Compatibility" tab on the properites of the exe, not the virtualized "XP Mode" you are referring to.
