    Have you set the logging to 'full logging' in the CD Ripper options (CD Ripper Options > Secure ripping > bottom of that screen should be a setting for logging level (from what I recall from memory)....

    this is the naming string I use. It creates separate subfolders (named Disk 1, Disk 2, etc.) for multidisk CDs.

    As @spoon notes it is important to compare *audio* CRCs. You are likely comparing total file CRCs, and these can differ because of the metadata (non-audio) information in each file.

    No, you're confusing "compressed" from a lossy point of view (mp3 and m4a) to file size compression in a LOSSLESS file (like FLAC). All FLAC files are LOSSLESS, bitperfect copies of the CD....

    With 17.7 on windows 10 machine I do not have to refresh to get metadata. It happens upon insertion and reading of CD.

    see below. You will use resample DSP to 44.1, with triangular dither option, then bit depth DSP to change from 24 to 16. You can do all this at once in batch converter.

    I'd save the album art you're finding on discogs site to your desktop. Then in dbpoweramp ripper, you can click on load from file in the artwork section.

    Got it. Now I understand the problem. I haven't seen this in about 5,000 CD rips, so something odd is happening. Are you using multi-encoder, ripping to different formats at the same time?

    perhaps I'm missing the point, but you understand that when you insert the CD to rip, you can change the Genre to anything you want. I find that I have to change essentially every single Genre label...
