Hello!
Small thing I've noticed. The secure extraction log no longer shows up on the information log after ripping, as it did in R16. It is still writing the text file to the folder. I have not...
Morning!
Success! Switching to R17 worked. I have done an additional 12 or so multi-disc albums with no problems, using both the default settings you suggested, and the ID tag processing...
Hello!
OK, here's my experience:
I've installed R17 and have burned a few more multi CD albums. If I completely turn off ID tag processing, I do not get a folder.jpg in either the AIFF or FLAC...
OK, will do and report back! It might be a couple of days.
I was hoping to not import a folder.jpg to my AIFF library, as it makes iTunes make two folders... one for the audio, and a separate one...
Morning!
Interesting... could you say more? How should I set it up then? Currently, I have ID tag processing enabled in both AIFF and FLAC. The only active items are:
FLAC - Import album art...
Hi again,
I'm not exporting an album art folder.jpg to my AIFF library, so not an issue there.
For FLAC, it is:
[IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],[IFCOMP]Various...
Hey!
Pretty straightforward, I think? It seems to happen only when it is multiple rips of the same band.
For FLAC:
B:\Audio Archive\Corbin's Audio Archive\
For AIFF:...
Hey!
I have version 16.6, and I'm using the multi encoder, creating FLAC and AIFF files onto the same drive.
Thanks!

Hi all!
I'm on a long-term conversion party here. As I'm chipping away, I've noticed that, periodically, a current rip's cover art will also be added to a previous rip, anywhere from 1-6 rips...
Thanks for responding.
I don't... that's what kind of weird. I checked ID Tag DSP, and the only encoder that is exporting artwork at all is FLAC, and it goes to the sub folder.
Thanks!
John
Hello!
I'm back chipping away at re-ripping our CD collection to lossless, and I've noticed that with each rip, the album artwork is saved to my desktop. I haven't changed anything except I've...
Awesome. Thanks everyone!!
Sorry to keep dragging this out... when I did this, my expanded genre list etc. transferred over. However, none of my DSP effects, file write locations for my different conversions and CD ripper...
Thank you!
So, is it correct to assume that if I copy all of the files from my old computer into this space, replacing the old ones, I'll be good to go?
Thanks mville!
I do see my settings files in my backup files from my old Windows 7 computer, but I'm not seeing the same location on my new Windows 10 computer.
My situation is that my new...
Hi all!
I just purchased a new computer due to a complete hardware failure. Awesome.
Anyways, does anyone know if there is a way to transfer all of my preferences to the new computer since I...
Thank you for the help!
Thank you!
A couple more questions...
1. Do you recommend a particular control point, and is there one that works directly on the PC... without the need for an iPad etc?
2. Does Asset play the...
Hi all!
So, I am interested in streaming my iTunes library to a PS Audio DAC. It has the ability to render my music through it's "Bridge." I have been waiting a long time for their Wavestream...
Hello!
I have the ID Tag DSP effect set so that it will capitalize the first letter of every word. This works great for me except for when things have names like MacDonald, or it makes the state...
Perfect!
Thanks you!!
Thanks!
I got almost there... once I get to DSP effect in FLAC, I can find ID Tag Processing, but am lost after that... sorry! Any help would be appreciated.
Hi all!
Does anyone know how to direct the Multi Encoder to save a "folder.jpg" image with my FLAC files only? I am also saving in AIFF for iTunes, and once I import the new album, iTunes make a...
So, if I am understanding correctly, compression Level 0 is still compressed a bit, while uncompressed just changes the file type but is still the same size as .wav.
Thanks!
Hi all!
