Add support for Chapters / Markers (dMC)

It would be cool if you would consider adding support for WAV/FLAC markers, that
they would survive as MP3 chapters when converted ... :)

Re: Markers / chapters in FLAC/WAV/MP3

Ok, thanks for rapid reply. :) Could it be added to feature wishlist?
(It saves time when making podcast mp3 ...)

    Markers / chapters in FLAC/WAV/MP3

    Hi!
It's seems DMC does not preserve FLAC/WAV markers into MP3 chapters?
(Mostly tested converting FLAC files with markers into MP3 files. The chapters seems gone.)

Re: Issue with Apple AAC encoder

    Hi again.
The file is missing entirely. (It looks like there's a .tmp file there momentarily, before it disappears.)
The original file is a short/small FLAC of 23.7 MB, mono 22050 samplerate....

    Issue with Apple AAC encoder

    Interesting error just now:

Error converting to Apple AAC, '/path/to/myfile.flac' to '/path/to/myfile.m4a'
    Unable to tag file '/path/to/myfile.m4a'
Converting from FLAC to Apple AAC, CBR.

  8. Re: macOS: Convert with dBpoweramp not showing for all files types

Ok, and new entry is generated when the dBPoweramp app is run for the first time/when the os is generating app signature? (Or during the reboot/login thereafter?) :)
  9. Re: macOS: Convert with dBpoweramp not showing for all files types

And the issue is back, Convert with dBPowerAmp disappeared again for FLAC files ... huh?

Can it be related to changing default app for opening FLAC files?

I got it fixed again, but hopefully...
  10. Re: macOS: Convert with dBpoweramp not showing for all files types

Tried dragging dBpoweramp Music Converter.app to trash. Reboot.
Reinstalling by dragging it from mounted disk image to /Applications.
Starting dBpoweramp ... Didn't seems like it made any...
  11. macOS: Convert with dBpoweramp not showing for all files types

For .wav and .m4a, I get the services entry for Convert with dBpoweramp, but not for .flac files, it seems.

    Where/how can I fix that association? :)
(It did work on my previous Mac. Just did a...

Restore ripping profile from backup (macOS)

    Hi!
Just got a new Mac, chose to not just migrate everything from backup (get rid of old junk).

Now I'm wondering which files I need to restore to get back my ripping profile.
    I did...

  15. Error converting to [Multi Encoder], 'Track 1' to 'no_filename_specified_1' ...

Did a rip with my usual setup, Multi Encoder, using the AAC encoder with two different settings.

Just upgraded to 16.1 for Mac. Ripped a CD, then got these errors. (Doesn't bother me, thought...

  18. Re: OS X version, multi-encoder, weird album art, folder.jpg behaviour

I was about to test this today, but it seems the current version (15.4) has fixed the issue (of the multiencoder itself seemingly saving folder art in addition to the included encoders themselves)...

Oh, you're right ... It seems my Mac-ripped files were 400 kbps VBR.

  23. Re: OS X version, multi-encoder, weird album art, folder.jpg behaviour

I haven't gotten around to rip more CD's yet. I can test this when I do, but I'm sure it will work if both the multi encoder and the embedded encoder is set to save album art to the same folder. (Not...

  25. Re: OS X version, multi-encoder, weird album art, folder.jpg behaviour

Using the multi encoder with just one encoder sort of beats the purpose of the multi encoder ... ;)
This behaviour is definitively new at some point, since I don't have lots of remains from earlier...
