I have three (3) budget LG drives
and
Three (*) budget ASUS drives
Im running them as UBS3 to a USB3 hub into a port on the MacBook
While speeds of all 6 running at once are not as...

Currently I am using THREE of the OWC 5.25 optical drive enclosures with their "budget" drive.
This is a drive enclosure with a DC power input to feed the CD drive, and a SATA to USB3 converter...
