    Re: Uniform Audio Level confusion

Right, there are some other neat options in there. I'll explore that more over straight replaygain.
I thought there used to be a codec that allowed you to just apply DSP to the given file (MP3 to...

    Re: Uniform Audio Level confusion

I don't see a way with the replaygain 'codec' to apply the gain.
As I recall a long time ago there was a codec that would just allow you to process DSP (and thus use the Replaygain (Apply) DSP)...
  3. Jukebox - Don't shuffle ALL the tracks, just the folder I specify

I have a separate music directory specified in Asset that contains a general assortment of songs just to put on in the background (under 2k). It is updated from time to time by dropping new songs in....
  4. De-dupe same track listing in different formats ie FLAC / MP3

I've seen this come up a few times over the years, but don't see any motion on it. I was curious if with Asset nearing 4.2 land if there was any thought about de-duping listings between FLAC / MP3 et...

    Re: PerfectTUNES discussion

    Ah Ha. Figured it out.
If you hit the space bar (like I try to do occasionally to scroll down the page like a mentioned previously) the mouse cursor disappears.

    Re: PerfectTUNES discussion

Yes. I've only had this occur while in de-dupe, but I've spent the most time there.
It's not common, but it happens.

    Re: PerfectTUNES discussion

Heh... Looks like the cursor actually DOES disappear from time to time. It show up on the task bar, or above the window when I move off, but not on the main window. To bring it back I need to...

    Re: PerfectTUNES discussion

This looks great. A few initial thoughts:
    AccurateRip-
I would like to be able to export a list of 'bad' files so I can go back and re-rip them.
Copying the text/path on the screen is not...
  9. FLAC identification tags to Quicktime to fool iTunes

Apparently, you can convert the FLAC file identification tag to fool iTunes into thinking FLACs are Quicktime files which allows iTunes to recognize these and play them. There is a Mac tool here...

    Re: dBpoweramp Batch Ripper: Discussions

One thing that is still killing me in RC2 is that Long meta data is truncated and parsed incorrectly.

    Ie. Free DB Disc-ID: rock / 9b0aac0c

Paul Simon / Still Crazy After All These Years...

    Re: dBpoweramp Batch Ripper: Discussions

This new release seems to be working well. The new meta engine hasn't left me with any rejects this round which is a pleasant surprise. It's really coming along now.

It would be nice to be able to...

    Re: dBpoweramp Batch Ripper: Discussions

In batch mode I'm noticing, if a cd isn't the version expected (ie it has bonus tracks) or the cd is looked up wrong, then the known cuts metadata is populated with track name etc, however when the...

    Re: dBpoweramp Batch Ripper: Discussions

Right, for a single artist disc that seems to be the case. What about compilation discs... select the individual track and then go up and fill in the artist? I would try, but I'm in the middle of a...

A few observations after working with the current state today-
    On the batch front
I would like to see a more verbose...

    Great. Thanks for that.

While I can do it via the registry manually, Might it be beneficial to setup an import/export option for this where it can write the values to a file and then can be sucked...
