I purchase allot of albums from 7digital and Qobuz. When I try to retag these flac files by selecting them in finder and using the Edit Tags option, dbPoweramp isn't overwriting the existing tags...
Ok @PeterP here is the Crash details:
1995
I'm working with only FLAC files.
I get the usual Apple crash report. I submitted a few of them but was doubtful they get past Apple to you guys. I'll recreate one right now for you.
I noticed that after so many operations using music converter on macOS, I get a repeatable hard crash.
Example: I'll take 10 albums and run each album through the process of Arrange Files, Tag...
It still knows how to handle HDCDs correct? I use it just to know when I have a cd that has the HDCD flag and/or Deemph as I add it to back of the album title.
I don't see the option for the track technical column in CD Ripper on OSX, is something coming in the future?
Is there a way to get the replaygain codec installed for the music converter? I used it allot on Windows and now miss it in OSX.
I think it's an option that might get you a few more customers. I'd prefer non destructive HDCD decoding in my player and currently only foobar2000 supports it. Having a UPNP server doing it behind...
What are the chances of getting HDCD decoding added to R5?
Is this a straight port from a user interface stand point? Or is it rewritten using Apple's user interface guidelines?
That's how the files are named on PC. Consistency in file naming between the platforms is important, IMO.
There was a discussion a while back in regards to preventing the disc fragmentation that happens right now with R14 coreconverter.
I assume the tmpfolder option is the method to solve it by...
The track technical information column will with high regularity tell you when a track is HDCD before ripping. But as you say won't tell you which features are enabled.
That said sometimes it...
J River Media Center is worth every penny just like dbPoweramp.
Anyone else using this special version of lame to encode vbr mp3s? He's been releasing versions based on the different Lame versions for quite some time.
I'm just in the process of creating a new...
As EliC mentioned the first pass is basically burst, if it's accurate it moves on to the next track.
There is something wrong with the batchconverter outside 32 addressable memory limits.
I went and converted 25,000 tracks, then went back into batch converter unselected those particular folders. ...
Ability to multi-select folders and do a batch convert. Or the ability to easily multi-select folders in the batch convert and toggle them to be included in conversion.

Fair enough.
I have a separate folder for each artist. Any way to make selection of half my library easier in batch conversion tool? Or the ability to select multiple folders in windows explorer...
I have 118,000+ tracks in my flac library. When I try to batch convert the whole lot to MP3, the little + sign gets about 80% of the way across in it's analysis phase before it crashes. Memory...
HDCD DSP doesn't significantly slow down ripping for me.
I suggest doing -V0 even if you can't hear the difference with your current mp3 reliant gear. Doesn't mean you might not have something better down the road and wish you had the best mp3s possible....
Thanks! It was really annoying me, but I didn't have enough proof to point fingers.
I'd like to see something similar, if I already have at least one disc of an artist then show the compilations/soundtracks that the artist has a song on. This would also be the same for non...
