This is not our version, it would have to be just 'R7.4' to pass the update check.
I do not think the older versions were any different.
You only need one folder added normally, the root of your music.

You could try enabling secure ripping mode.
dBpoweramp can tag .DSF files, .DFF files have no tags
I am not aware of anything that will do this.
Were the CDs ripped verified with AccurateRip?
You are best configuring manually, especially as is a different processor architecture.
Set the Album Artist to the same value for all those albums.
If you want to merge albums, then asset has to do this, start disc 2 at 100. As the albums can be indexed in any track order and the number of tracks cannot be always determined before hand.
It is not possible sorry.
It is an option in the configuration to merge multi-disc albums, turn it off, however your album names would have to be different (such as AlbumName, disc 1) or you will have two track 1s.
