  1. Re: All discs are rejected by dbBatchRipper using Nimbie NB21-BR USB 3 autoloader.

Here is a VERY late update:

Sorry for the extremely late update. I haven't had a reason to be back on the dBPoweramp forums until now. I'm only here today because I upgraded my computer system and...
  2. Re: How can I force AccurateRip to retest key discs and set new offset information?

    SOLVED!:
    -------------------------------------
After a couple of additional weeks of working on this problem with the awesome guys over at Acronis, they figured out (credit where credit is due)...
  3. Re: How can I force AccurateRip to retest key discs and set new offset information?

I used CD Ripper to run through a couple dozen of my test discs, which are all listed in AccurateRip's database. Every disc gave the same error as they give in Batch Ripper. Zero difference.
  4. Re: How can I force AccurateRip to retest key discs and set new offset information?

I typed a reply, but it never posted. That has happened to me twice before. Strange...

Anyway, most of the discs I'm using in my test "batch" are on that list. Still, every single one asks me if I...
  5. Re: How can I force AccurateRip to retest key discs and set new offset information?

Thanks for the link. I've been using a stack of CDs. After comparing my test stack with the table on that page, I can see many of my discs are already on that key list. It runs through the stack,...
  6. Re: How can I force AccurateRip to retest key discs and set new offset information?

I finally got Batch Ripper to rip CDs as "secure," but AccurateRip still doesn't work. When the ripping process starts, it pops up a dialog telling me it can configure Accurate Rip using the CD...
  7. Re: How can I force AccurateRip to retest key discs and set new offset information?

I tried to figure out a way to clean the laser lens, but just couldn't get to it. I did try one of those "optical drive cleaning discs," but it didn't help. I think it may be time to finally give up.
  8. Re: How can I force AccurateRip to retest key discs and set new offset information?

I spent a good part of my weekend trying to get both Nimbies to work with several other PCs. One of them never worked with any PC I tried, so something is obviously very wrong with that unit. I was...
  9. Re: How can I force AccurateRip to retest key discs and set new offset information?

Today, I plan to switch to a different computer to try to get this to work. If there is some strange incompatibility caused by my particular motherboard, BIOS, CPU, chipset, memory, or other hardware...
  10. Re: How can I force AccurateRip to retest key discs and set new offset information?

The possibility that it was a drive problem was the reason Acronova sent me a second brand new Nimbie. We were trying to minimize the possibility of the issue being the a faulty Nimbie. The...
  11. Re: How can I force AccurateRip to retest key discs and set new offset information?

I already tried to post a response once, but it never showed up. So, I'm trying again.

This morning, I disconnected all optical drives except one Nimbie machine. I ran the 4 CDs I'm testing...
  12. Re: How can I force AccurateRip to retest key discs and set new offset information?

I'm using Microsoft's "Windows Defender." At one point during trouble shooting, I disabled the security software for a few attempts. It didn't make a difference. The batch ripper definitely has...
  13. Re: How can I force AccurateRip to retest key discs and set new offset information?

Oops! I forgot the third error message I've been getting. "Not Audio CD." That's also false because I only buy plain audio CDs. No apps. No PC-only special features. Just music CDs.
  14. Re: How can I force AccurateRip to retest key discs and set new offset information?

The majority of the reject messages list the error as "no cd after load," which is obviously false. The rest of the rejects say, "ripping error" after about 60 seconds of trying. When using either...
  15. How can I force AccurateRip to retest key discs and set new offset information?

Somehow, I don't think the offsets stored in AccurateRip match up with the drive in my Nimbie autoloader. It rejects literally every disc I insert. How can I force AccurateRip to retest the offsets?
  16. Re: All discs are rejected by dbBatchRipper using Nimbie NB21-BR USB 3 autoloader.

Over the weekend, I got the Nimbie to remain connected to Windows all the time. Unfortunately, dbBatchRipper still rejects every disc inserted on BOTH of the Nimbie units I now have for testing....
  17. All discs are rejected by dbBatchRipper using Nimbie NB21-BR USB 3 autoloader.

Warning: This is a long post detailing weeks of attempts to get a Nimbie bot working with dbBatchRipper. Skip to my plea for help at the end if you don't want a breakdown of what I've tried so far.

Re: Bizarre problem with Nimbie USB Plus

What you're describing is one of the (many) issues I have seen during the past couple of weeks trying to get a brand new Nimbie USB Plus Blu-ray version to read my music CDs. The entire reason I...

Re: Nimbie Disc Drive No Longer Recognized

I just purchased the Nimbie USB Plus Blu-ray version a couple of weeks ago. It took a few days to finally get Win10 to recognize the drive. Then, it took another day to get dbPoweramp to talk to it....
