  1. Re: Mixed up versions of Pink Floyd DSOTM - can Accuraterip help?

You have the AccurateRipDiscID, of which the last set of 8 characters are the CDDB Disc ID. Also, your files may contain the MBID tag (MusicBrainz Identifier). Try a google search on the IDs.

    Re: Mulitple CD manalishi

The syntax in your Naming string is incorrect.

For [Disc x], [IFMULTI]Disc [disc] should be [IFMULTI][Disc [disc]][].

    Re: Mulitple CD manalishi

dBpoweramp is totally flexible, whereas iTunes is not.

If you want [Disc x] at the end of your multiple CD albums, edit your Naming string accordingly.
  4. Re: Mixed up versions of Pink Floyd DSOTM - can Accuraterip help?

How were you able to identify the 4 versions, before the music organizing program mixed them up?

My advice... don't expect to store every disc in the cache.
  6. Re: dBpowerAMP R17 - shell extension right click tag edit

If you have paid to upgrade to R.17, all subsequent R.17.x release are free.

    Re: Keeping my inputted info

It will depend on how many discs are in your collection.
  8. Re: Mixed up versions of Pink Floyd DSOTM - can Accuraterip help?

OK, firstly, I'm assuming the Album tag for all the DSOTM files are the same.

If you are familiar with Arrange Audio utility codec, you can use the [GRAB]from,to,string[] programmable action, e.g....
  9. Re: Mixed up versions of Pink Floyd DSOTM - can Accuraterip help?

When originally ripped, did CD Ripper write the AccurateRipDiscID tag to the files?
  10. Re: Some of my FLAC files wont play or can not be moved to another storage location.

Before proceeding any further, I suggest you run Test Conversion on all flac files on the original HD, to rule out any file corruption.
  11. Re: Select multiple folders and have [audio info] export data of all files incl folde

For multiple files/folders, you can use dBpoweramp Batch Converter
  12. Re: [Audio Info] codec does not export all tag data?

Yes, you are doing something wrong.

First, you need to go here: dBpoweramp Codec Central: Utility Codecs and download/install the Audio Info codec utility.

Next, use the Convert To option (see...

Re: Sorting Albums by flac sample rate.

What I do is populate a custom tag in all my flacs, based on filetype, resolution and no. of channels.

In Asset, the custom tag is added to the asset database and finally, the browse tree.

By all means ask for help, but please don't post this inflammatory nonsense in these forums, as it isn't welcome here. There are plenty of Mac-ho sites out there, for you to flex your big apple ego.

    Re: Quality question at FLAC

    I have 3 questions:

    1. Are you definitely ripping to the flac format?
    2. Are you definitely getting accuraterips (you stated accurate)?
    3. You are NOT using any DSPs, when ripping?

    If you...
