Hi
I've got a similar problem - Asset does not show up in Linn Kazoo since I've reinstalled Windows 10 even though it appears to be working ok and appears in File Explorer.
I have tried...
One further point. I have tried installing Asset on another machine. I find there is exactly the same issue as occured on the first PC of the mapped Z: drive not being visible in Asset.
No. I can't see the Z: drive but it appears to work fine in all other respects.
No. It is Premium Registered. I just seem to have two order numbers for 6.1 available to download. I was still running version 5 when the problem occurred and upgraded to version 6.1 to see if it...
Thanks, mville
I note that there is a second Order Number for Asset UPnP Premium R6.1. Have installed this and it appears to work OK. Will report back on progress in day or so.
My joy was short lived.
After Asset worked correctly for a short time the problem returned. Also Asset restored the settings I had being using prior to uninstalling and rebooting so some of the...
Bingo! That worked a treat! Just scanned my entire library in just a few minutes.
Many thanks for your help, mville. Also thanks to Spoon and Dat Ei. It's really appreciated, guys.
Not sure...
I have already tried this but I'll give it another go.
Yes, it appears I am: -

Many thanks, Spoon. I am using my own account which has administrator rights.
The only other account is my wife's which she uses on rare occasions. I have now changed her user status to...
It gives message "Drive z: does not exist"
Version 6.1

It shows the Network location for flac (i.e. Z) that doesn't appear in Audio Library Select Folder
Sorry if I did not explain that very well. I am clicking on the following in turn:
1. Add Folder (in Audio Library)
2. Network
3. NAS-01-98-10
4. Media
5. Music
6. Flac
I believe I should...
If you look at the first screenshot you will see the whole path selected. The second screenshot shows the process of attempting to find the path. As you can see Z: just does not appear in Select...

Here is another screen shot so you can see exactly what I mean.
You can see Z: on the right in This PC but not on the left in Select Folder for Audio Library.
Many thanks, mville.
I appreciate your kindness in trying to help me but I have already done that.
Excepting that, as I say, Z: is not visible in the Select Folder. I have to select the whole...
Yes, I do have Adminstrator rights in control panel user settings.
Have also tried remapping Z: just to make sure.
Sorry, I thought I had made it clear.
Yes, the mapped drive: \\NAS01-98-10\media\music\flac) appears as Z: in File Explorer >> This PC >> Network locations
In Asset UPnP Configuration >> Edit...
Sorry, mville. I did not explain that very well.
It does see the path if I set it manually with \\NAS01-98-10\media\music\flac - it just does not see it as i have mapped it drive Z:
Windows 10...
Many thanks, mville
It's been a while since I created the network location path \\NAS01-98-10\media\music\flac as Z: but I would have done it with administrator status. I can't see any Windows 10...
